    I live in MN and most of my guests are flying out of MN. We go to Mexico every winter to an all inclusive resort for a week and had been able to go for $1300 or even less to nice resorts. This year it was closer to $1500-$1600. My travel agent did not have an explanation but that things were definitly higher for some reason! I was really bummed but luckily most people are still coming but some cut their trip shorter to save money. We were able to get direct flights into Cancun and are going mid Feb. Good luck!

    I had asked Maria about my guests staying in the hut for a cocktail hour while we took pics and she said that was fine. She didn't put a time limit on it.

    I am from the St. Cloud area and am getting married on Feb 15th, 2011 at the Sandos Playacar in the Riveria Maya. I also had to wait until June of this year to book but was lucky that the date I wanted was still available! I am bummed though since the rates for our guests are higher than I anticipated or pay when we typically to go Mexico each winter. Christa

    We didn't have a special song either so I was watching one of my favorite movies " How to lose a guy in ten days" one night and a slow song came on that caught my attention. I downloaded the lyrics and listened to it multiple times. It is called "Feels like Home" by Chantal Kreviazuk. It is perfect....check it out on itunes!
