  2. Hi Aaron - Popular items to include are - welcome letter, schedule of events/activities,travel size bug spray, Imodium, sun screen, aloe vera, tylenol, beer cozy, personalized tumblers, key holders, etc... there are lots of photos and ideas on pintrest - https://www.pinterest.com/wedinparadise/destination-wedding-welcome-to-paradise-bags/?lp=true. Many couples hand out bags at a welcome dinner or cocktail party or meet & greet guests in the lobby as they arrive. Resorts typically charge a fee to distribute the bags.
  3. I Aaron I just responded to your first questions and answer your questions about Kukua too. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] and I am happy to send info to you. Please let me know what questions I can answer. Thanks! TA Patty
  4. Hi Aaron - I am one of the Wright Travel/BDW travel agents specializing in the Dominican Republic. There are lots of great resort options in Punta Cana and I have stayed at and/or toured many resorts. The AmResorts Master Agent is a travel agent education program I completed with AMResorts. Iberostar Grand Bavaro is an adults only resort and Dreams are family friendly. There are many resort options in the Amresorts family - Sunscape, Now & Dreams are family friendly and Breathless and Secrets are adults only. Zoetry allows children, but they do not cater to children, no kids club, child rates, etc.... Iberostar is a complex, and their other three resorts are family friendly. I see you also posted a question about Kukua. I have been to Kukua many times and Bego is a sweetheart and very talented. I have resort info, resort wedding info, and info and pricing for Kukua as well. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] and I am happy to send info to you. Please let me know what questions I can answer. Thanks! TA Patty
  5. Good Morning Aaron - I have been to Iberostar Grand Bavaro and it's a beautiful resort. What questions can I answer for you? Thanks! TA Patty

She is great and will be able to provide suggestions and pricing. Best wishes with your planning!! TA Patty

  11. Congratulations on your engagement!! I agree with everything MarieSam stated above. Travel agents book using a wholesale tour operator and will typically get better rates than you will get directly form the resort. In addition to the experience and relationships we have with hotels, tour operators, etc... a travel agent will handle all of the travel arrangements for your guests including , keeping you updated as guests book, handle all payments, collecting flight schedules from guests and making arrangements for roundtrip transportation from the airport to resort, answer guests questions about travel in general, the destination, the resort etc... Our job is to take the travel portion off your stress plate so can concentrate on the details of your wedding. We provide guests with their travel documents prior to travel and prepare them for travel. Planning a wedding should be a fun experience for you and when guests come to you with travel related questions you can simply say "Contact my Travel Agent, they're the experts and they'r happy to help you"! 23. Hello and Congratulations! A travel agent will not only be able to get you competitive pricing, but they will handle the travel arrangements for you and guests, answer any questions your guests may have, etc... and take this piece of the stress pie off your plate! I am one of the Wright Travel/BDW TA's, but we're located in the US. You'll be able to get the best rates and pay in Canadian dollars with a Canadian TA. I can recommend our agency affiliate Darci Huhn - [email protected]. we've stayed at Now Larimar a few times and our experience was always good. The food was good and I feel it's a good moderately priced family friendly option. The Master Suites are very nice, they're only rooms with an ocean front view and it's nice to have the extra space. It has a separate bedroom, living area and a second bathroom off the living area. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks! TA Patty
