  1. In my situation, I don't think so because it is really one of maybe 2 things that I have formally planned. And because my wedding is on a Sunday, most people are staying 5 or 6 days as oppossed to only the weekend. Plus, most of my family is used to getting up that early for church and since my wedding is somewhat of a religious ceremony (to some people) they see it as an hounor to be up and about in one of the most beautiful of God's creation to share in one of the happiest times of my life. Lastly, it eliminates them having to calm me down from a whole day of being a bridezilla. For most people the 12 hours prior to thier wedding is full of stress but for me it will be full of sleep (for the most part anyway) so it's kind of a sure fire way to eliminate the jitters and anxiety. Because you can best believe that whatever is not done by Saturday night when I go to sleep, just won't get done. And that takes a great responsibility off my shoulders (and that of my guest and wedding partry who have to help me get ready or deal with a perfectionsit bride). It's kind of my fool-proof way of making sure no body is fighting or stressed out in the hours leading up to the wedding. Which means everybody will be fully rested, having had something to eat, and not think about anything but enjoying our nuptials as the waves crash against the shore in the background. Aaawwwwww, I can't wait!!
  2. These are beautiful but I can't seem to find the link. Was it in the first post of the thread?
  3. On the 10th of every month at 10 in the morning, I have all friends and family praying and fasting for our marriage all over the country. It's really cool. I can't wait for 10.10.10. Getting so excited!
  4. I am also getting married on 10.10.10 at 10AM in Punta Cana! I am looking forwward to my morning ceremony as it would be the time we would normally be in church so it has spiritual meaning!! Since people will probably have had breakfast, we are having a mimosa reception by the pool directly after the ceremony and then split until that evening and have a 7pm dinner reception on the patio of the restaurant at the resort. I know what ever you decide will be beautiful!!
  5. I am also getting married on 10.10.10 at 10AM and at first my TA told me it wasn't possible but then I asked her to see what she could do, she went back and tried a few times and finally found a judge who would perform the ceremony.
  6. Hi Steph! What ever became of this being your date? Did it work out? This is my day and I love reading about other brides who are getting married on 10.10.10.

  9. Yes, I was lucky to find my resort to be available on 10/10/10 only about 3 months ago and they only do one wedding a day. It was a blessing. But I know all our weddings will be beautiful, no matter what day it's on!! Happy Planning ladies!
  10. I would love to have an aisle runner as well! I wanted this to be one of my DIY projects by hand painting my monogram on it but now, I am concerned about customs and wind. What is a sure way to know that customs won't hold me up for days over my aisle runner?
  11. These are amazing!! And just in time for my 150 post access! LOL I am super psyched!! I think this will be the very first thing I download!! Whewww Whoooo!!
  12. PLanning is going well. I have paid for our trip, made the dress appt for this thursday, narrowed down to 5 online, hoping they look fabulous in person, made my veil, picked my flowers, made my OOT's, purchased my shoes, and sent off for our passports. I feel a tad bit accomplished but there is still so much more to do. Thanks so much! FI picked the date, thats about all his involvement has been so far, LOL, but no complaining here. Hahaha
  13. Does anyone know if they will allow you to make reservations for a small group like 8?
  14. Thanks so much for sharing this. I am only having 8 people and had no idea on what to plan. I feel like if I dont plan anything, people will be bored but if I plan too much, it will be silly because it's mostly my immediate family; parents, siblings and one aunt and uncle. Please help me with this gals!!
