  1. Exactly 2 months and I'll be a Mrs.!! Yippee!! My invitations go out this weekend, my dress was ordered last week and the last person who RSVP'd just paid for their reservation!! Whewww Whoooo! I'm on a roll here for someone who got a late start!! Just wanted to some through and thank all of you for your support!! I just really love you ladies!!! {tear} Couldn't accomplish this planning without you!!!!
  2. I also saw some wax seals on this site http://www.mygatsby.com/accessories/seals.jsp for a reasonable price but I am not sure how the peel ones might look versus the real ones. I really want to do real ones but I am not sure if the postal service will mess them up. Â Now, I just have to figure out if I want to do the wax seal? I think it's really pretty but some people suggest only if you are hand delivering the invitations because the post office doesn't like to run them through the machine. But I was thinking of maybe putting them on the inner envelope. What do you ladies think? Has anyone done wax seals for mailing invitations?
  3. Oh, something else exciting happend to me today!!!! My invitations came in!!! YYIIPPEEEEE!!! I am going to spend the next 2 days running them through a printer in a fancy Calligraphy font (I wanted a hand calligrapher but I don't have the time or the money so oh well :-( .......maybe for my AHR) then they should be off by the weekend. Whewww, so I'll be in between the 6-8 weeks the experts suggest! Yeaaaa! Â Now, I just have to figure out if I want to do the wax seal? 4. My wedding is on 10.10.10 at 10:10 in the morning so I will only be having a mimosa hour after the ceremony (since people will have eaten breakfast and it won't quite be time for lunch and then that evening we will have a formal dinner (I'm not sure if I can call it a reception since there will only be 9 people including FI and I). Â What's the app called? What kind of phone do you have? I could sure use that kind of motivation. I have a T-Mobile G1. Â
  5. I got my single dose from medco.com  They also have a $10 promo code online if you google medco promo codes (I forgot what it is exactly but google will bring it up). Â
  6. Too much Bing? No such thing!!! Â My vote is for number 2!!! All the way!!!
  7. So I've said yes to the dress!!! Â I am not sure of the designer but I got it at Davids Bridal and I am absolutely in love with it!!! Â Â " title="" width="1" />).JPG" src="http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/image/id/118573/width/1000/height/500" />

  9. Hello ladies, Â I would really love to do passport booklets but Ihave already sent out my STD's and my invitations so I was thinking that perhaps I could do them for my welcome booklets to go in the OOT bags. Â What do you ladies and gentleman think? Â Is there too much information in a welcome book to turn into passport style? Â Does anyone have a passport template that could give me ideas on welcome book pages and not invite or STD pages? Â So far, I've used some templates on the forum but there are about 6 pages where the information doesn't apply to people who are already there. it's for people still planning and booking. Â I really want passports somewhere in my wedding but I'm guessing its too late since everyone seems to only use them for STD's and invites. Â For the life of me, I can't come up with what else to put in the book. Â Please Help!! Â
  10. Hello Ladies!! I am feeling extremely discombobulated and having a hard time organizing my mind. So I am turning to the only place I ever find wedding day comfort, my fellow October Brides!! Here are the things I have/or are done: Fiance' Resort Booked/Cake and Flower decided on Date/Officiant Passports ordered Dress/Shoes/Veil/Tiara Photographer scheduled and deposit made STD's Invitations Survival Kits {or hangover bags but dont tell my mom they are called that :-)} OOT bags Excusion ideas narrowed down Doing my own hair and make-up Here are the things I don't have/or aren't done: FI's suit Packing list Finish Passport Welcome Books (need ideas for what to put on the pages b/c all the templates I found were for STD's or invites but no welcome books) Pre travel brochure Clothes and bathing suits for honeymoon Order gift for Mom/Dad/Groom Bourdoir Shoot { Unfortunately, after I come back :-( } What am I forgetting? There has to be something I am totally forgetting.
  11. Thanks Ms. Hat for the compliment!! I am in love with that freakin dress, LOL. By the way, I love your countdown! That is so cute! Thanks Cindy!! It was a difficult choice at first but I indeed fell in love with the first dress and the others just couldn't compare. ANd I'd like to add an extra 15 to you package to Knacarato. Been trying to get rid of these love handles for a while now, LOL. (Wish it was as easy as just shipping them away!) Ms. Knacarato, I have heard of these shakes as well and heard really good things. I actually have been going to GNC to get smoothies that help me with fat burn. So they have a wide range of products that I hear are really good! The Caribbean music is a great idea. Maybe I should try that out too!!
  12. Thanks so much Wendy!! It is definitely a relief to be able to check that major item off my list. The consultant said it should be back by the 20th, no later than the 30th. So let's keep our fingers crossed for the 20th. We leave on the 6th! Wheww Whooo! Thanks so much Mayan! You ladies have me blushing! Such sweet girls you are!! I love that word stunning!! LOL Thanks so much K! I appreciate the compliment!! I am in love with the dress so it's really nice to know that the perception outside my own bubble loves it like me! You gals are great! Thanks again!
  13. I bought my dress from Davids Bridal! It fit perfect, no alterations what so ever! It was amazing! Here are pics!
  14. Well, I finally got my dress and I am absolutely in love with it. Passports should be here next week. Still havent decided what to do with my hair but oh well. So all that is left is the bands (already picked online just have to go pick them up) in 2 weeks and a cake topper....and the other 987,973,194,287,309 things I am forgetting! Happy planning!! 2 months from tomorrow I will be a MRS........Whewwwwwwwwww Whooooooooooooooo!
  15. LOL, Girl I'm so sorry, I didnt mean to say luggage tags. Hahaha, The wording is CLEARLY for key cards and tips!
  16. Oh, I'm overjoyed to hear that all is going well with your planning!! How exciting to cross things off the list!! As for me, all my contents for my OOT bags have been purchased and I'm thinking I will assemble in the DR instead of before hand. However, I do need to make my "survival kit" baggies but I ordered the contents online yesterday so they should be here soon. And I've spent all day today making the passport welcome books but now I'm taking a break because I was about to lose it with power point. LOL. And I still have to figure out what all to put on the pages b/c most of the passport templates are for invites so some of the info is not relevent if your all ready there at the resort. My dress appointment is tomorrow at 11am amd my mom and I have been back and forth online narrowing it down to 5 top choices. I love all of them but I know they will look different on so we'll see tomorrow. But I definitely plan on buying one of them b/c my mom is not able to be with me to buy my dress (a financial sacrifice to be able to be with me at the wedding) so in honor of her I'm definitely getting one of the 5 she picked. So I'm pretty secure that it will be a little less painful than it traditional is to narrow down the choices. My FI and I still have to buy bans but we have narrowed down a few online at Shane Co. sowe just have to go in, try them on, and buy them. I DIY my viel and the glue from the rhinestones is drying as we speak and my sandles for the ceremony came in the mail yesterday. I still have to decide what I am doing for the pre-travel newsletter. I wanted to DIY some "message in a bottle" newsletter since I will only have to make a few but I'm not sure I want to start a big project like that. I think that's it............. Oh, and yea, I guess the groom needs an outfit too.
  17. Also, you can ship these without the box if you want to eliminate cost. I went to the post office and just put .61 stamps on the bottle itself with the label and all of mine arrived safely to their destination.
  18. These are really great!! Did you share/post a template? I didn't see one and just wanted to make sure I was not missing it.
  19. Wasn't sure if yu were asking me or the person who started this post but........ As far as hair and make-up, I'm not sure I understand the question....What about it? It will be done that morning and then I can just freshened it up that evening. As far as what we are doing in between, Directly following our 10AM ceremony, we are having a mimosa reception by the pool. After mimosa's everyone will split until 7. Then we will meet for dinner and I'll have on a much more informal wedding dress and we'll do all the traditional stuff there. When I was planning a traditional ceremony at first, I had in mind to have a ceremony dress and a reception dress anyway so it doesn't change my plans much.
  20. Thanks for posting these ladies! I was having a hard time finding my resort because it is fairly new. nh-Royal Beach.
