Hey ladies, This is a REPOST of the season 9 version, but with edits I made to fit this new season. I noticed a lot of ladies were interested in a new round of BDW Biggest Loser and so I figured I'd start the thread. I am happy to accept the new role as host of season 10's BDW Biggest Loser!! Best of luck, contestants!  A special Thank You to AnnR for moderating this competition for us!  BDW Biggest Loser X – Start date: August 27, 2010 – initial weigh in – to start, you will need to send Chelsea [DWBride615] your starting weight along with a photo for proof (photo of yourself plus the number on the scale). You can send these to: [email protected]. This season will last 12 weeks. Each subsequent week, you will send Chelsea [DWBride615] your weight and a photo of the scale (you don’t need to send a photo of yourself every week, just the first and last weeks). Weigh-in days will be on FRIDAYS. However, in the hopes that you won’t miss any weeks, you will have until each Saturday at 12:00PM EST to send me your weigh-in and photo for that week. So, to recap the rules: You will take a before pic of yourself and send it to Chelsea [DWBride615]. She will not share the before pic with anyone. Participants will decide if they want to share their before pics. Every FRIDAY starting on August 27, send your weight by e-mail to Chelsea [DWBride615] at [email protected]. Also send a pic of the scale for proof, and if the number on the scale isn't clear, please also type in the weight in your message. On the last day of the contest, take an after photo and send it to Chelsea [DWBride615] along with your weigh-in. If Chelsea [DWBride615] does not receive your weigh-in on that day, you are not eligible to win. Chelsea [DWBride615] will not share the after pic with anyone. Participants will decide if they want to share their after pics. Chelsea [DWBride615] will calculate percentage of weight loss from week-to-week (for fun and motivation), as well as the overall loss for the entire group! Chelsea [DWBride615] will post a weekly 'tip of the week' with a fun fact or advice on weight loss dieting/exercising every Sunday. Any and all members or contestants are free to post their own recipes/advice/tips on weight loss for other viewers to see. The one who lost the most weight in terms of % loss at the end of twelve weeks will be the Biggest Loser! If you do not send in your weight on time for 2 weeks in a row without letting Chelsea [DWBride615] know in advance that you're out that week, you will be disqualified. If you become disqualified, or would just like to join in for fun, you can continue to send in your weigh-ins (but you will not be eligible to win). For any and all communication for this contest, please send me (Chelsea) an email at [email protected] if it's something that requires my attention. If you are banned from the forum for any reason, you will be disqualified from the competition. There will be no "drama". If there is any such drama, Chelsea [DWBride615] and Ann [AnnR] has the right to disqualify participants or stop the contest all together. The BDW Biggest Loser will be rewarded a 'BDW Superstar' banner! So, earlier this week I posted about the Maggie Sottero dress I ordered and recieved. The dress was a letdown and the color was not what I wanted at all. I contacted the shop on Tuesday and they said that they’re willing to do a dress exchange to another Sottero dress.  I chose the 'Jenna' for my dinner reception dress that I'll change into after the ceremony. I can't wait until it comes in! =]  This is the final dress and with it being white, I don't think color will be an issue:      This was the original dress I ordered and returned: (The color shows a darker red that I wanted, but it was actually a bright, lighter red)  Â

Update photo!  This is a pic taken the same day of his proposal. FI hates taking pics which explains the half-smile LOL His family was completely in on it, so they had a cake(plus champagne!) ready when we got back to congratulate us. Of course I said 'yes!' lol  Â

I'm sorry that you're in this position and have to deal with this. Â How about you tell the single guests that the dates can come if they are willing to pay the $225? Then they can still bring their dates and not make you pay more than you want to. I think if you spoke to them about the price it would cost you for those additional people, that they would understand. Â It's your wedding; you shouldn't have to pay extra for people you don't know.

Definitely  More big spoilers:   Britney does need to go. Britney and Rachel is the same house would be very entertaining too.   I don't know if you have BBAD or live feeds, but the other brigade members have turned on Matt. All of them have agreed to try and take Matt out next week(if not this week) and add Brendan into the Brigade. They said that they can't trust Matt and they trust Brendan more. Lately though, everyone is suspicious that Matt has a power (which they're right) so Enzo, Lane, and Hayden agreed to lay their plan down until its figured out or the power is used. They still want to keep Brendan and get Matt out.   On the side, Matt has been talking to Lane about dropping the brigade and adding Ragan and Britney into a different alliance. Lane seems to be in a good position at this point, but could it be the end of the brigade? I hope so!  Â

I agree! Â Here's a fill-in for those who like spoilers. Â Â Brendan put up Lane and Ragan. Ragan won POV and took himself off. Brendan replaced the nominee with Matt. So, now the nominations are Lane and Matt. Matt, of course, had the DPOV which he'll use to take himself off. He's either going to put Kathy or Britney in his place. So the final nominees will either be Lane and Kathy or Lane and Britney. We all know Lane is staying though either way.

I am ready to be the host at anytime. Just let me know when you want to start, ladies =]

I thought it would be cool to start a list of member birthdays and signs. This could make it easier for happy birthday wishes or even just used as a fun fact about each other. Oh, that makes sense... but Tina could have still done a way better job than what I've reading about. She was getting paid AND most of all, these were weddings. One of the most important days in a couple's life and she didn't really try much at all from what I read/heard. That's awful through and through.

Sorry to hijack the thread. I'm not a ROR bride, but I've been following these threads. First off, I think its awful what those brides have experienced with the abrupt WC change. All bridal parties should have been notified and the weddings should have gone as they were planned. I'm sorry for all the brides that had such issues with this. Plus, on top of the notification, each bride should be able to get in contact with a WC! I would be like a chicken with its head cut off if I didn't know how my wedding plans were going, or if they were going at all! Â On a side note, I'm curious as to how Tina left. Was she fired like Chandlyn? From what I've heard, it seems like she deserved to be.

I have never seen something like this happen for a wedding, but I think it's so cool and amazing. If you can somehow get this to happen, I would go for it. Â I know if I was having a beach wedding, I would definitely have this on the planning list.

We're throwing two At Home Receptions. Most of my family lives in the USA and FI's family lives in England; so we're having one in each location for each family. The AHRs will be pretty big and kind of the same as our wedding reception, only with everyone(those who couldn't make it to the DW and those that did). Â We're just having them because we want/chose to, but it is NOT rude if you don't have an AHR. It's completely up to the wedding couple on how they want their wedding celebrated, not anyone else.
