Did you check with the hotel to make sure that wasn't a problem. i don't think it is in mexico but i know it is in the dominican. They completely shut down for like a week at that time. We are getting married here too first. Can't stand having to take blood down there cause they do it a lot different than we do it here! Â

Hopefully Primavera sent the book to you. I don't have a wedding travel agent just a regular one. I think i prefer it that way then I can deal directly with the coordinator and there will be no miscommunications. But some girls have said they have gotten some extra perks that way so who knows. Â

If you are bringing your own flowers you should get something in return for that. Sandra told me two but now I am back to Pillar and i just sent her an email last night showing her that she said two so hopefully she doesn't try and take that away cause then i will have to go all bridezilla on her lol i am bringing my own sashes too, some of the flowers that are not included and my own centerpieces. Â

I have no clue as i haven't got that far with him yet. i am still waiting to talk to him personally to discuss these things. Hopefully i get a call soon and I will keep you posted.

I am not sure of the differences in prices between april and may. I had two possible dates i could go with and i choose the week of april 23rd to april 30th which was reasonable for all inclusive leaving from toronto canada. i have family near tampa florida who i need to get down there also and we haven't booked them yet and they can't be part of my group rate from here so if you do pick to come the same week, let me know the pricing you get for a group rate and maybe i can add two more to those rates and help maybe get you a free trip. My grandmother is 80 years old so she is only coming from either April 23rd to April 27th or from April 24th to April 28th, a four day stay rather than a 7day stay. i know here in canada with air transat that every 21st person is free except for taxes. Would be fun to plan a wedding around the same time with another bride! Either date you pick i wish you the best! I know when I chose my date April 26th at 4pm the 27th was still available. the week i chose is also easter monday week so people would only need to book off 4days of work instead of 5. Just a thought! What colors are you going with?

Never heard of Ana before. She must be new and helping Pilar. What date are you looking for? If you have already told them the date you want they will probably not give it to anyone else without speaking with you first so I wouldn't stress too much. If you start to get anxious and you are on facebook. Diana the sales coordinator is really good at passing along messages and then you get a reply right away.

I feel ya Mischaka. It has been about a month and no call as promised or response to emails from Sandra. As some of you know there was an accident at another resort and Sandra has been sent there i believe permanently. I am now back to Pilar. I have sent an email and post via facebook to Diana and she of course as always responded very quickly and then I received an email from Pilar tonight with an apology and explanation. I have sent a very detailed email to her with some questions so let's pray I receive an answer shortly! I guess there are alot of us brides and one person just isn't enough to handle all our questions lol I do feel for her a bit though but let me tell you if my wedding wasn't eight months away I would probably be panicking right now!

I love all of them but if it was me I would go with the top right or left. Cake looks great. I am using the exact same colors as you just minus the black. So when is the wedding and where? What have you planned so far? Is it going well?

What color is it cause all the colors they have are a bit hard to find on this site. I had to go through other colors to finally find the ones i wanted. Â
