Thanks Bree  I am in Brampton. i think i am going with Monica Bridal as I has sent an email to Gianinar and they took too long to respond. Also Monica Bridal was cheaper. The only thing i am worried about is they ship via ems which sometimes looses packages but my wedding is not till next april so i should be ok if something were to go wrong and i wanted to order the original! I am dealing with Monica Bridal on DHGATE.com after the recommendation from Prettypig and Lolita and they are amazing. Great communication. I wanted to make changes and they spent alot of time chatting with me online to get it right. Now i just have to send my measurements and I think it only takes about 30-45days to get the dress. I wasn't charged 15$ per person for drinks at dinner. i also wasn't charged 15$ for drinks at the cocktail hour, just for the hors d'oeuvres. i would clarify this with the WC because there was some confusion in the beginning regarding this but i said i wasn't paying for drinks at an all inclusive resort when they could just go to any bar for this so my quote didn't include that cost but they guaranteed me a private cocktail hour at the blue beach bar. You pay $53 per person for the divine package plus taxes and service fee. Works out to about 67$ per person i think!

Ya i figured it was a bit much but the FI liked it. They do look large in the picture but it's actually a small centerpiece that fits on a placemat. I am going to tone it down a bit and repost other ones at a later date. thanks for the feedback.

i don't have an email for Ana as Pilar is still my WC for now. Sandra is the one that is gone to another resort.

Ana is the WC from Dreams and she is now at the Now jade. Another bride said that she spoke with her and was able to answer all of her questions in 20minutes so hopefully she has changed her habits now and will be the WC that we all need! I found in the beginning of this process that phone calls were way more effective but since then i a now doing things mostly over email and it is working out. Good luck with everything! Â

Pilar finally got back to me yesterday and she has honored what Sandra told me thank god for that! She even sent an email to the videographer stating my total hours and to contact me to discuss options and what we want done. I got very detailed answers from her about alot of questions so i feel more at ease now. She even emailed the Minister asking him to contact me so we can discuss scripts for the wedding. I got most of this information because i sent an email to Diana saying i hadn't heard from Sandra in over a month. Â

I booked my date with the resort without a TA. My travel agent has never even spoken with the hotel, they are dealing strictly with the tour operator and I am doing everything with the hotel. As long as you call the hotel, tell them the date you want and it is available then you email them a copy front and back of your credit card, a copy of you drivers license, fill out a short form of the locations you want the wedding, cocktail and reception and you are booked in, with or without a TA. You should speak with Hotel Management if that is what she is telling you or try to reach Pilar cause that is who i initially dealt with when i secured my date. Good luck! Â

When I was looking the rates in april were much cheaper than feb and march. I have several teacher friends who aren't able to attend because I couldn't book during any school break as i wouldn't be fair to the other guests to pay more during that time. It sucks but I like my April 26th date and I hope you ladies are able to get what you want for the price you want!

My starfish bouquet jewlery just came in yesterday and they are soooo cute! They look just like the picture on ebay. About the size of a quarter each from end to end and on a long steel sturdy stem.The are going to look fantastic around the perimeter of the bouquet with the larger blue starfish in the middle from the passing thread that I am on. Can't wait to see the final look!

Ladies from the States! I need some help. I am trying to find a cheap price for a flight and hotel stay at the Now Jade from April 23rd-April 27th or April 24th to April 28th for my 80year old grandmother and my girlfriend who will be accompanying her from Tampa Florida. Could anyone provide me with any TA names or suggested sites were you are getting great land only rates or flight rates. Also does anyone know if there is a direct flight from Tampa to Cancun? All I am finding is flights with 1 connection but I would much rather not have to make my grandmother change plains. Any advice or assistance would be much appreciated! Â Thanks!!!
