You guys are gonna have so much fun!!! Well my wedding is before all of yours and I am bringing my own bows which are going to be turquoise organza i think so if anyone wants to split some of the cost then I can purchase them, leave them with the WC and the last person to return home can send them back to me as I would be using them for my AHR also i think but that may change. I don't know my exact numbers yet but should have a better idea by October. I am expecting about 40. I am assuming she will tell you only one as that is what she sent you. I just got the tote bags for me. It would probably be cheaper just to go to a dollar store or something and pick up oot bags if that is what you are using them for rather than paying the shipping for 30 orders plus it's a pain in the ass and takes forever to do that many orders. Do you have any ideas on what you want to do for centerpieces? What are your colors? Â

Yes they are 12 hours different from eastern standard time so they work 10pm to 10am our time so needless to say i spent a few nights up till 2:30am chatting with them. Â

I was too in the beginning but once you are a member it becomes alot easier to communicate. I copied and pasted pics of the front and back of the dress in paint and entered text and arrows where i wanted things and added a pic of the beading i wanted and now they know exactly what i want and told me they are able to make it. Now nothing is ever 100% but I am sure it will be very similar to what i want. I posted the instructions in an earlier post on page 139 i think. If you look back in the thread you can get an idea of what i sent them. Â

If you sign up with them, they are like a china ebay, you can look for the seller name WYWEDDING and that is monica bridal. They are not allowed to communicate outside of this website for transactions on items listed on the website. Rules of DHGATE.com. There communication is great. Excellent response time to emails and you can actually chat directly with them on this site to explain whatever it is that you want. If there is a particular dress that you like put it in the search and if that seller doesn't come up then contact them on another item and tell them what you want and they will create an item for you to pay on the dress you want. Yay congrats. I can't wait to see both of our dresses completed. Did they tell you how long before you received it once you placed the order. I keep confusing vendors but I think it takes 10 days to make and 5 days to ship which is amazing! Mine is 144us and my sales tax on the original would have been 125$. this is a still and a half! But I am also getting a petticoat and veil included in that price so I am super happy.

Thanks for the compliments. Everything was free so i couldn't resist. Just had to pay shipping! Every penny counts and more people will come with the lower prices so i am so happy that you were finally able to nail down a date! We will have to exchange pics after all of our big days! I like these flowers for my bouquet, which one do you think is nicer?

How is Ana? Before you ask her I would check the wedding book they sent you cause they apparently corrected the misprint so i don't know which brides got the same one as me or not. But Sandra and Pilar are sticking to the one but I am not happy with that answer becasue even though i am going to bring some centerpiece stuff, I would use flower ones for other things. Â

Hi Primavera and Sking24 Â I am so sad that I will be getting there april 23rd and leaving april 30th(wedding april 26th) just before you guys get there! I haven't found any brides there the week I am yet! My colors are similar to Primaveras. i am using lime green, aqua/turquoise blue and white. I am still not sure about the centerpieces. I keep going between different ideas. i just got some blue starfish plates and might use those with candles and shells with some sand and tealights but I also have small vases with crystals and tealights with a starfish table number holder but still working on them! Don't want them too busy but don't like too plain either so i am trying to find a happy medium! I have finally decided on my dress though so that's one big thing down. I am bringing my own chair bows(turquoise) they charge a 1$ to iron them but it's better than the 5dollars to rent them when I found a website that sells them for 69cents a piece. I think i will need about 40 of them. I am also going to bring some fabric to add to the pergola white the white fabric that is already part of the package. turquoise and lime green. i am using maracas as my kissing favor. I am bringing fans, banners, posters and starfish wine stoppers.Oh boy and so many other things that i don't know how the heck i am going to get this stuff down there lol How many people are you guys expecting to come? Hi Ladies  Not sure what everyone else has been told about the centerpieces but Pilar is now confirming that only one centerpieces comes with the divine package. I am still fighting this one as in the Wedding book I received it said Floral centerpiece arrangments per table which to me for a package of 25 people should include at least 3. Sandra told me previously it was a misprint and has been corrected but I feel they should honor what they wrote so I am going to speak with Management about this. Some people make decisions on the resort based on what is in the packages and i don't think it's fair to be able to just take that away. Anyway, if anyone else has any luck in this area with Pilar or Ana as Sandra is no longer there, please let me know. I think if we are stick together they will have to honor what they wrote and that is a savings of at least 200$ and we all know every penny counts!!! Â

Hey Mocha beautiful dress you choose and don't worry about it not being on their website. Once I showed them the link of the dress and sent them instructions as i made a few changes they then added that dress as an item number for me. I asked for different beading and they said they could do whereas other china vendors onlu used certain beads so i wouldn't worry i think they can do this dress for you. And well you already know my plan which is to order that dress from monica bridal now and still have enough time to order the original just in case! i think it is well worth the risk and based on what other brides have said they are very happy with the dress they received from monica bridal so GO FOR IT!!!! Â

I skipped the hole STD thing and just sent out invitations the second week of July and my wedding isn't until April 26th. The reason I did this is because I wanted to give people as much notice as possible and I secured the group rates until Sept so they have from July to September 15th to put a deposit of $200 down to hold those rates. I am also having at AHR which was included in the invitations on July 2nd. The rsvp reply had both events and they could choose one or the other or both if they wanted! I added detail sheets about the mexico location and the AHR location.

thanks alot Tracy for posting this. It seems like we are getting the same sort of deals except you lucked on the lower pricing for food! I brough up the issue of centerpieces as well cause the one i received said the same thing with sandra and she told me it was a misprint, i am fighting that now so i will let everyone know how it goes.

Hey Laura  Welcome! a few of us on here are getting married before hand to avoid the time rules, blood tests and translation nightmares! When i was dealing directly with Sandra she was great until they pulled her away from the now jade to go work at the now saphire and her emails got lost in wedding neverland! Now I am back to Pilar which is who i started out with in the beginning but she is getting better at responding to my lenghty emails lol  Still looking for a local florist or trying to decide on bringing my own I am just not that creative!  Good luck with the wedding planning.  Lisa

Hi Erin  What is your email? It is easier to send it that way for me. My first quote was like $11000 and I now have it down to about $5600 for 50people. I am taking all the flowers in the package but I am using the two corsages for my grandmother and the mother of the groom so I need to buy two additional boutonnieres for the dads which are in the quote at $20 a piece and two bridesmaid bouquets which they want to charge 65$ a piece so I think i am going to have those flowers made real touch or make my own. I am also bringing my own chair bows, additional fabric for the pergola, my centerpieces, frames and a few decorations.My quote is very bare. We are also using our ipod for music at the ceremony and the cocktail hour as well as for dinner music and only using the DJ for the speech/dancing part of the night! Our reception is in the Bamboo room and for now ends at 11pm. If you are having an outdoor reception I was told that they have to end at 11pm no matter what. About a month ago I was emailing quite a bit, in the last month nothing and they in the last week twice. I have been put in contact with the videographer and the minister also. My wedding is not until April 26th but I would rather get all the details dealt with now and then not have to deal with anything until about a month before the wedding when i send in the instruction form and final count numbers. It was just in the beginning that i was anxious for replies to get the date booked and now i don't mind that it takes about 3-4days to get a response cause like you said they also have to deal with brides in house.  Lisa

And I bet no one will even know the difference!! I spoke with Monica Bridal again this morning and sent over all my details including measurements. They are including a petticoat to give the a-line effect of the dress and sending me a veil as a present. It mostly has appliques and lacing on it so it probably won't match my dress but I can always add beading to it after if i want. Not sure if I even want a veil either as i have a tiara that my friend gave me to wear and i really like the idea of a flower on the side where the hair is pulled back. I am going to pay for the dress shortly but I am just waiting for the dollar to go up a bit as it took a nose dive in the last week

Hi Sking24 Â I also have an issue with the cost of the centerpieces. The book actually says that floral centerpiece arrangments per table are included but Sandra had told me that was a misprint and that only one is included for the head table. Can you tell me if Pillar told you that three are included in the divine package cause if so i am getting different information. I was also told that there is no cost for the champagne toast if you don't want the bottle popped in front of you and are ok with just having them bring a tray of champagne to the guests so that is an option for you to cut costs. I also didn't take the extra cake either or the hors d'oeuvres over and above the 25 offered as half of the people will probably be taking pictures and desert is offered with dinner. The receptions are max 4 hours and then they start charging if you want it longer than that about 15$ per person. Apparently there are some items there for free that you can use for your centerpieces so i would ask that question. I am going to be bringing my own to avoid that extra charge. I booked Ivan Luckie as my photographer for the wedding and the TTD and just got extra videography time instead. i wanted to bring in my own firedancers cause they want like 1000$ and they told me they would charge me 45$ per dancer for them to come on the resort for a 15minute show. Mocha I am going to be ordering my dress soon and apparently it only takes like 10days to make and then another 5 to ship so if you aren't in a hurry i will let you know how it looks when i get it. So far the communication and service has been outstanding. They have this chat thing where you can talk to them immediately. Must easier than through email i think! And if I am hesitant at all about the dress i am just going to order the original, use the cheap one as the TTD and sell the original after to try and get some money back.

Hi T&A Â I was told they have a floral shop onsight. I am trying to find a florist in the area but I am having a hard time finding one. If you locate one that is reasonable please let me know. They all seem to be as expensive if not more expensive then the resort. Â Thanks
