I was also wondering about the DJ aswell and what they offer other than playing music cause i can do that with an ipod dock? Erin, I was told that the tables we are provided are the large round ones for 8people and one rectangular one for the head table unless your reception is at the festival terrace where they will only use the long rectangular tables as there is not much space to serve.

I think I am going to finally figure out what i want my bouquet to look like then send to Pillar to see if it can be done in the price of the package and it not then I will probably go all real touch for me and my BM's. FutureHolt where are you getting yours and what is pricing like? Have any pics of what you want?

Hi T&A Â I haven't got that far yet with regards to flowers, that will have to be my next challenge. I need two extra boutonierres, two BM bouquets and 8 chair flowers and they are really costly so i am debating on real touch or just making my own from good quality silk flowers. Not sure yet!!! Already have too many things to bring so i might just suck it up and pay! Nice swap!!! Â

Hi Ladies  I was wondering if anyone has done a TTD session photo shoot at either Xplor or Xcaret? If so, do you have any contact info for either place, know what they would charge and what is the best locations for pictures?  Also would anyone have any pictures that i could view? I am thinking of asking my photographer to go to one of these locations and would like to know if it is possible as I believe they are beautiful locations.  Thanks

The festival terrace is right beside the bamboo room. If you are looking at the resort from the beach, the terrace is to your left. The Las Olas is covered but it is an open air restaurant. Â

Hey Kristie  The Orange lounge is close to the seaside garden location, the festival terrace is beside pergola which is beside the blue beach bar. I chose the blue beach bar because i am getting marrried at the pergola and the blue beach bar is right beside it and the bamboo room where my reception will be is right behind the pergola. If you go on the now jade website they have a vitual map which will help you with locations.

I am in the bamboo room and i was going to use some string lighting for the bamboo and some chinese lanterns.

chairs do come with the package, they are the banquet chairs with white chair covers. The chairs we are discussing are upgraded chairs. Â

It really does help knowing this far in advance so you can buy everything you need per person, know what you budget will be and plan accordingly. I am very happy I did it this way. I am also getting some maybes for the AHR in July which is totally understandable and there is one week left till the deadline on the rsvp card and I am still missing just under 2/3rds of the replies so even if they come in late it won't be a big deal. At least the people have been told and have an option of a guaranteed rate with only a 200$ deposit. Big hug back at ya! Â

I was told 7$plus taxes for either chair so I am going with the chair covers and bringing my own bows!!!! To me it's not worth the extra 400$ or so for the amount of people I am having. They are pretty though!

Guess I might have been a bit demanding lol cause my wedding is april 26th, 2011 and i sent out my invites second week of july and gave people till sept 15th to decide on the DW and the AHR on July 2nd. I did this for two reasons: to save on sending two invites and because the group rates and space availability were only guaranteed until sept 15th, 2010. But i figured better know sooner than later and we had personally called everyone invited and had 22 booked before the invites when out lol i figured either you are coming or you are not lol plus that gives them plenty of time to save and my group rate had a 12month interest free payment plan for those who needed it.

No but that is a fantastic idea. I did mention to them that my aunt was allergic to seafood and they said they would give her a different dish. I am not sure if I am remembering correctly but i think they wanted to charge me $3 change fee or something but I am not sure about this so i would ask. If you are having 50 people of more i think you can do a buffet style and then there are several choices. Â

I received an email and a phone call on Saturday. I was out of town and missed the call but both were because Pilar is now on Facebook and saw some previous posts of mine about time delay in responses and she wanted to address my dissatisfaction with the service. I responded to her last night. I am going to call her to get this resolved as since I was transfered back to her she has been much better at answering my questions. She did say that she was out of town last week for a wedding conference so this could be why she has not responded yet. She is trying to catch up i guess.
