I LOVE the bodice on this but I see what you mean about the bottom. It depends on if you want it pouffy with gatherings or maybe just a straight a-line with some detail. I do kinda like the pick up dresses. I am no help at all really cause I was just like you. Either I loved the top but not the bottom or vice versa of almost every dress I tried on!!!

It looks like it fits awesome. The only difference I see in the original to your dress is it appears that that cross line across the stomach is on the opposite side. The rest looks identical. Congrats!

OMG girls, green, blue and white are my colors. I love the combos. Those Amarylis are awesome, love the orchids too and I like the blue gerba daisys but the FI doesn't like that flower so I made need to just sneak in a few lol

Hi Ladies I have had the same experience in Chinatown and think the only thing that might be good to get from there if you are using them is lanterns! If anyone is looking for finger starfish they is a store on that is selling them for 1$ or 2$ which i think is better than having them ordered and shipped to canada. My FI hates the looks of those but is ok with the sugar or white knobby starfish but I have yet to find them anywhere cheap so I may be ordering them from a seller on ebay. Brandy-Have fun dress shopping. Lord knows I have tried on a thousand dresses and finally ordered mine last week! Take some pics and post them if you can!

Wow Ginger I love your dress! Sooo sexy. The ruffles rock! I had the same problem with mine, too big and too long! It will be awesome for your reception dress but what dress are you wearing for the ceremony? Lucky you to have a friend who is a seamstress. They want to charge me 150 to 250 to do the alterations on my dress!

At first glance the dress looks great on you but after seeing the poor workmanship I can understand how that would be upsetting. I love the ruffles on the new dress. If you are doing a TTD use the knockoff, it would work perfect!

So far they look awesome Ashley! The FI is going to love them. You are so brave!!!

All three items they sent me were individually wrapped in clear plastic and then all in a black type of plastic with mega taping around it. It was in great shape and not very wrikled like prettypigg said but the scent was very strong. I don't know what the smell is but it is embedded in the dress. I have it in a plastic bag which is not good but was told to take it out and air it out for a bit and wrap it in a white sheet and then bag it again. Most hotels will steam the dress for you on the wedding day so I think that would get the smell out but I could be wrong. I wouldn't spray it though. Try what prettypigg said if yours has that smell.

Oh I hope they are pending for me but maybe the bride before got to them first.

So glad to hear you made it safe and i have my fingers crossed for you that Richard passes right by and you can have your dream outside wedding. Congrats Ladies on becoming aunties! I sure hope I don't become one anytime soon cause my sisters are only 19, 20 and 22 and I better have one before they do! lol side note(I am 36 so there isn't much time left ) and my FFIL just tonight said that the only thing he wishes for is that I announce I am pregrant at our AHR in July!! Oh boy, no pressure right?

We are also getting married here in Canada either first or when we return but are considering the symbolic ceremony in Mexico our wedding date. The legal paperwork to us is just a formality.

Teira-I love the first pair and would add a rhinestone brooch that you like to bling it up more. I love bling too!!! Lua-Nice pic! So i went back to try on the first dress by alfred angelo with my cousin and we both agreed that the the sottero and midgley was the one! It might be a little less comfy but I love the structure in that dress and i will probably order the alfred angelo for my TTD. And don't laugh but I called my psychic who predicted the time i would meet my fiance, the time he would proposed so I felt it only fitting to call him for this lol He immediately described the differences with the dress and picked the sottero and midgley also so I called the store and went ahead with my original order that i put a deposit on on saturday! thanks for all your input ladies i really appreciate it but had to go with the dress I kept going back to! I also think the fiance will prefer that one too!
