Greys-I am soooo happy to hear that. I fell in love with the website pictures and just booked it without really doing much research first which is soooo unlike me! But i am glad I did because I have heard 99% good things about this resort. Brandy-OMG girl you have a tough choice here. I love them both. I think the first one is sexy and form fitting (FI may like that more) but the second one is flowy and elegant and more beach style/goddess style. You look fab in both and couldn't make a bad choice either way. BTW you look super skinny like the skinny ass model in the pic in the third pic of the second dress. Good luck. I think I am leaning more towards two. Beautiful detail and comfy but then again if I could have found a dress with a hoodie and pockets I so would have bought that one lol Ok I am totally stuck on the gift registry thing also. I have just been avoiding it all together and hoping that word of mouth gets around that cash is best for us. I am in denial mode I think though. I have told some of the people coming down south that their presence is enough for us but I know some still may want to get something. Then there is the AHR. My fiance is portugese so they are used to giving cash or gift cards so I don't think I need to worry there. I don't think I am having a shower so I don't need to worry about that. IDK!!! Oh and FYI, I just had laser eye surgery and it ROCKS!!!! I can't believe I can see 20/20 without glasses or contacts. This will really help in my TTD shoot lol

I guess it depend where and who does it cause we all got a good chuckle at my girlfriends husband when he had to get it done and passed out! He said it was the worst thing, they actually pump the blood out not like in canada where they stick the needle in and it just comes out. They got married at Gran Bahia Principe in Tulum. After I heard that, i said to myself I would never do it cause I hate having blood drawn to begin with, just a big baby I am lol If you get married at home there is no need for translation from what I know. Guess i should ask cause everything seems to change in Mexico.

We are also doing the symbolic ceremony at the Now Jade in Riviera Maya and getting the legal paperwork done when we get back for all the same reasons mentioned above. My resort told me they don't require anything for a symbolic ceremony and there is a document you sign but it is just not legal so no one will know the difference!! I am already scared of needles and they have a very painful way of taking blood in mexico so thanks but no thanks! lol

Karen- The dress looks great on you other than being too big and long which has been becoming a theme lol i agree with Bonnie that if you take out part from the bodice and shorten it will look even better. I think the fabric is very shinny and it looks way more expensive than what you paid for it!

Hi Mocha I am not sure what that means but it doesn't sound good. Any post office that you would have to pick it up in should be close to your home and have the same postal code however if you are in a small town then maybe that it what it means. I would verify with Monica Bridal that they have your correct mailing address. I wasn't home when mine was delivered and had to pick it up at the post office. If it was at the post office there should be a card left in your mailbox or on your door. I would check for that or have your FI check cause if you didn't get one of those telling you which post office to pick up at then I would assume it was sent to the wrong location. Oh god I hope you get it!!!!

I liked the shell idea and then came across this and decided to put our rings on each side of the arms. Only problem is it is blown glass and I hope our 7year old ring bearer doesn't drop it and the rings go flying!! yikes!!!

I like the clear better than the black also and the larger pillar looks better too! You could use smaller votive candles around the larger centerpiece with your colors or you could add tropical flowers in your colors. Love the addition of the starfish!

I was trying to make arrangments to pick these up with the seller but she would never respond to my emails so I am not sure if she changed her mind and kept them or decided to give them to another bride instead!

I think this is soooo cute. What size of shells are you getting for these and from where and do you have a special way of displaying them?

I am so glad to hear that everything is finally working out for you. The process alone is a tough one without the drama so when there is drama it puts alot of stress on the bride who is planning almost everything and wants everything to be perfect! This should be the happiest time in your life and don't let anyone ruin it for you. Get excited, stay excited because it is EXCITING! Yay for all of us! lol 6months away and you watch it will fly by and you will finally be married to the man of your dreams!
