Getting married at home just not sure if before mexico symbolic ceremony or after just before we leave for greece on our honeymoon which is three weeks after we get back from mexico. I am scared if I do the legal ceremony first that it might ruin the feeling for me so I keep going between the two. But I am also struggling with the fact that after the mexico ceremony we will be pretending to be married and not legally so I don't know what to do! I am counting the mexico ceremony as my true wedding date and anniversaries will be celebrated that day so I guess it really doesn't matter when I just want to have the same feeling before the symbolic ceremony as I would if I was actually gettin legally married.

Hey mocha I just printed out the marriage license application form with our information on it. I am going to get the licence myself with both our passports in hand and that is all I thought I had to do. It cost $135 and I can get it at Brampton City Hall during working hours. Licences can be purchased in most municipal offices in the province and can be used anywhere in the provice. They are valid for 90days from the date of purchase. Here is the form I filled out. Char they are beautiful. FI bought me this necklace a while back. It blings but the only problem with it is the necklace gets tangled easily and they dont' sit the best on your neck.

I was doing the same this weekend. Just put together my pre travel brochure package with luggage tags, photoshare cars and a can't wait magnet too for everyone. Just need to get envelopes and stamps. They are all over my living room floor lol Also put the cards in the waterproof badges for the key card and tip money to go with the lanyards. Also made a wine label for my AHR and found pics for my memory frame. Ahhhhh that feels good. I found my luggage tags at walmart for really cheap. They come ten to a pack and i got the horizontal ones as they worked better than the vertical ones. Oh and I also printed the marriage license application and brought home for FI to sign. Ladies it is coming fast! yipeeeeee

Thanks Ladies! I think I went a little logo crazy but oh well lol All my guests have put deposits and the final payment is due by feb 16th so I thought I would send them out once eveyone made their final payment which is about two months before we leave.

Ok there is alot more but after i spend forever uploading the pics and go to submit the system tells me to enter something before i submit my post urgggggg and it is far too late to continue this lol Anyway, I also got a hat with our logo, 5 pens with our logo, a photo flip book with pictures of all of our firsts, a notebook, photoshare magnets, a large outdoor banner for the ahr, a tote bag and i think that is it this time around! Gonna see what the luggage tags look like tomorrow without cardstock cause I really don't want to do the cutting but may have to. Anyone doing wine labels for their ahr? My dad called me today and said he is making the wine and asked that question which i thought was so cute after all my bitching about him today lol I told him I would make up a label and send it to him with our logo but i need your opinion-should i put our wedding date on them or the AHR date? or both? And would anyone have a template for a wine label?

Thanks Brandy and no worries, I did let it bother me a bit in the beginning but got over it REAL quick! Sorry to hear about your issue and I hope it works itself out for your sake! On the baby front! Well it sounds like i am the old lady of the bunch here at 36 so right after the AHR in July we are going to start trying. Times a tickin! FI is only two years younger than me and he wants two so I guess i am just gonna have to pop one out after the other cause i don't want to have kids after 40 due to health risks. I hope there are no issues getting pregnant because I have a few friends doing fertility programs and having a hard time. Also I think adding a color would add even more pop to the colors. I have three! Brandy put up some nice combos. Lua and Mocha-I am totally in if you guys want to do a girl spa day! I only have two girlfriends coming to my wedding, one from primary school and the other from highschool that I have remained close with that can come. One lives in florida and the other about 45min away. Other girlfriends of mine are teachers and can't come. Two in the city and the other 15hours away from me so I hear what you are saying about the lack of friends around. Had to let quite a few go in the last couple of years for the same reasons as others have mentioned and girls can just be terrible some times. I was always closer with guys also, not as much drama! Tris-totally do the trip, you will have memories for a lifetime and you are still young enough to have kids! Enjoy the hubby and married life for a while! I got my vista print order today way early and will post pics shortly, had to do some computer maintenance lol Oh I thank god for your girls!!!

Uninterested is the word for sure, I couldn't have said that better! Thank god for my aunt who has let me vent and talk about the wedding and FI of course but really he would like to help but doesn't really know how to get this stuff done and quick like I do so I just end up doing it myself. After the treatment I have been getting I won't be so involved in anyones wedding after this! I am just bitter now lol I have another sister in Florida who isn't coming she is 19 because she says she can't afford 750$ but yet goes tanning and gets hair extensions and would rather paint her car really then come to the wedding without her friend who can't afford it. Her mother who is also my mother isn't coming and didn't even have the courtesy to reply!

To be honest I have had more issues with my family (ie father, mother, sisters) and FI's parents have been fantastic! Had a bit of drama with his sister but more with my family. I love my in laws, they are so understanding with stuff and have not got involved really at all! My sisters are my bridesmaids and have helped me with nothing! No offers to help, don't think i will even get a shower, not that I really wanted one or anythign cause people are paying to travel but the thought of them asking would be nice! One hasn't even thanked me for buying her dress and I am currently not speaking with her! It's not pretty, would much rather her not be in the wedding but felt guilty about picking just one sister. They are young 20 and 22 but should still have some common sense about things! My dad-we had issues cause he is man and just clueless about weddings and called me a princess at one point which i am far from! All is good with him now but some of the things he said and did hurt me (like why don't you spend 10$ and go get married at city hall)!!!!! Oh ya I almost had a fit! And this is from a man that is not hurting for money and had never even told me he was going to pay for anything at that point he just kept bitching about costs and people counts. I guess all the bitching was because he was going to pay for some of it but couldn't just come out and tell me that like an adult!!!!! uhhhh men So many more drama issues I could go on forever, you really find out who people really are when you get married!

Tucked with tie or untucked without tie! That's my vote. Lua-It is beautiful in Rome and all of Italy actually. The architecture and history is amazing. You will love it and appreciate it more than most with your backround and education. Just booked myself in with a Dietitian and trainer-It's game on! No time to lose. I have literally wasted the last 6mths with only losing 10pounds, need 40more off before the wedding but that i think is unrealistic soooooo i am aiming for at least 20-25.

FI refuses to wear a suit. We have bought him White linen pants and now need to find a white linen shirt to match. He wants long sleeves and will be wearing brown sandals. Plain and simple!

Europeans always give cash and I am worried about how to accept the gifts down there and also where to store anything received. What are all you guys doing?
