I found some cute starfish letterhead at the dollar store(25 pages per pack I think) and I also bought letterhead that I created through vista print and ordered 10 at a time with each order. Haven't decided which one I am going to use yet cause I may still make a welcome book if I have time and will put it in that if I go that route. An apology and a little cash never hurts huh Laura WOO HOO lol Very nice logo, can't wait to see the final result since I haven't decided what I am doing for my welcome stuff yet (ie..bag or folder) Congrats Erin on the wedding and the member status! This will be a Valentines Day you will never forget! We decided to do our legal the day after we get back from Mexico. I totally think after all this is done we should all meet somewhere and have a girls weekend!!!!! Since i think we honestly spend more time talking to each other than our friends! lol

Jen the dress looks great on you and I totally think this wouldn't be a hard dress for any of the previously mentioned dress makers to do very close to the original. Good luck with your decision.

Hey Meggers My colors are the same as yours!!! I've been wanting to get lanterns but figured I wouldn't have room for any. What resort are you at? So far i am bringing down, chair bows, linen napkins, placecards, centerpieces inclulding vases which is what I will be using the waterbeads for Mocha, candles, cake toppers, starfish, all the stuff for my guest, frames, fans, gifts for bridesmaids and BM, colored material for the pergola decorations, and I can't think of the rest right now. My grandmother has my sand ceremony stuff and maracas that she is bringing from florida. Hanna, your wedding is the night before I leave but you can use the chair bows that one of the other brides lft me down there already. I need to take mine back with me for my AHR. Any of my other stuff you can use if you want I will just need to have it all back friday night so I can pack it early saturday as we leave that morning. Tenny here is a pre-travel brochure template if that is what you are referring too. It is not complete as I actually finished it on vista print (mine) but I have another one from another bride that I will post also. Thanks ladies, I think he looks handsome too Brandy! So I put together all my lanyards and started on the placecards about. I decided to go with my favorite logo for the front of the lanyard and the other logo with the explanation of what it is for on the back. I am happy with them and love the color of the lanyards. I also did a test with those water beads for the vases and they look good but take 8-10 hours to form and then you empty out any of the excess water. Going to switch up the list a bit and try and figure how much STUFF I need to bring down with me and how many suitcases I will need. Oh boy I don't think this is going to be a good thing. I have WAY TOO much stuff.

Hi Kathy For the postcard guestbook, I am giving the guests these postcards in the welcome bag as well as some other ones without the wording on it for them to send to their friends or family. These were created through vista print. At the reception I will have some of these on the table in case they forget to bring theirs completed. I will have this explanation card with some some of treasure chest for them to put them in. For my placecards I had initially wanted to print out business cards and place them between the knobs on my knobby starfish but that didn't work so I am printing the file below for each table, cutting them out, laminating them and attaching the small starfish to the bottom left hand corner and I will have them placed in a try with sand standing up. There is no meal selection for my guests so I didn't have to worry about that part.

Sounds like a blast Kiwi! I wouldn't stress too much, he may be on vacation or out of town on location shooting another wedding. If you have a number I would try calling to help ease your concerns.

Same here, I picked my times and i am getting married at 4pm on the pergola.

We found FI's suit today(last one in the store) and an aqua shirt. I love it and think he looks amazing in my favorite color. YAY Forgot to try it on with his sandals though so we will have to try that cause they are brown and I don't think they will look that good.

I am having mine at 4pm. sounds like we got the same groupon Meggers. I was told at my consultation to start using the sensitivity toothpaste which will help. I wouldn't go too close to the wedding because they told me we could have sensitivity for up to 4weeks and I sure don't want that while i am drinking my slushy drinks at the resort. the color lasts about 3yrs they said. I got my lanyards from a vendor on ebay named serendipity sales, I got the holders from another bride on here and did us the business cards on vista print. Tris awesome deal on the ring, congrat!!!! Good luck with the bidding wars, stay strong and I am sure you will get what you want within your budget. Just know if it doesn't work out it was just not meant to be and the house of your dreams will still be out there waiting for you. fingers crossed!!!

Here are my shoes for the ceremony. Had to go with the lower heel for comfort and to not be taller than FI. I think I am going to add rhinestone starfish. Got them on sale at Aldos for $28 taxes in. Still would love to find some turquoise/teal blingy shoes for my TTD and some choice pics though! Murmel I love your shoes. Was it an individual selling them on ebay or a vendor with multiple sizes?

ya i have enough of both logos for the front and back. Problem is the old logo is the one with the wording explaining what it is for but i prefer the new logo on the right. Basically my IT guy took too long to create the logo and I had created one myself and started ordering stuff from vista print and then I got his logo and liked it better than mine lol I know this is trivial and there are so many worst things happening but I am seriously having anxiety about whether or not it will look stupid to have two different logos floating around lol

Mocha and Meggers, before christmas i bought the zoom whitening for $99 for FI and I and we went for our consultation last weekend and we are both booked for March 5th to have it done. We both just got cleanings two days ago so it would take better. They do tell you that you may have sensitivity and you need to ensure you are a candidate before the actual whitening so call in advance cause I didn't know this till i called to book the appointment. Here is a pic of my key card/money holders. I did a premature vista print order before I got the logo I actually liked and had used one I created with the wording but I really like the new logo, do you think it would be stupid to use the first one and have two logos floating around the resort? I also have hats with the first logo uhhh i really don't want to have to reorder everything with the new logo cause it will cost a fortune but I do have enough business cards with the new logo to use for the card holder just not sure if the wording should be there or if it is self explanatory for the guests?

Francine- so sorry to hear your parents are giving you a hard time. I would try to convince him but don't pressure them. I would just say do you really think I would take you somewhere that wasn't safe? I agree with Erin, just tell them to stay on the resort. I have been to the dominican twice and went on excursions and was fine but to put his mind at ease, all resorts have gates and guards. So sad

It was me Char and yours look FANTASTIC, great job! I bought a 2inch hole punch from Micheals to make the holes and just cut a little slit in the middle of the top and it worked out perfect. Ok all you american brides!!!! I am heading to Buffalo on Feb 26th for a day of shopping with my cuz! Other than Target and the christmas tree store where else should I hit for wedding stuff. I am going to walden galleria mall to find some clothes for the trips but also want to check out what else is out there. Where is this christmas tree shop anyway? help please! Lua-that time is totally fine, guest will actually enjoy the time off, some will have a siesta (perfect time) and other will continue drinking! No problem man as the jamaican say! Brandy-I was having the same issue as you about planning pictures. Do this, figure out what is most important and schecule accordingly time wise ie. i want more me and FI pics, group pic, getting ready shots, ceremony shot etc....It is a little tricky though if you have to go off site for that! Maybe do all you and FI, bridal party and immediat family pictures all in one shot to save time. Oh now I am confused lol Kitty-I hear ya sister!!!!! but let it all roll off your back, I get so frustrated sometimes and my head is spinning 24hours a day that I just can't shut it down but if you don't let it roll you are going to go crazy and not enjoy the process. good luck everyone with your weekend projects, i wish you all a productive one!
