    I made mint matchbooks for my bridal shower favors and went ahead and made some for the wedding as well. I was going to throw them in the welcome bags but now I'm thinking I may just have them at each place setting at the reception for an after dinner mint. What are your thoughts? Here's the bridal shower ones... Again, it looks upright before I upload it, and then it flips! Sorry again! :-)

    I agree it's such a waste! Ugh, I'm so torn! I don't really care about the champagne but the cake and h'odourves keep bothering me! I am going to do extra because i would be so embarrassed if we ran out. I know it's all inclusive and it should be included no matter how many guest you have! They are just trying to make more money anyway they can. & they could technically grab food elsewhere but I just don't want that to happen! We have about 60 guest joining us so we are planning on only adding extras for 25 people worth instead of EVERYONE. I just want to do a few extras just in case!

    That's awesome that you could make an appointment! I'm pretty sure our courthouse told us it's first come first serve! Now I want to call back and check!

    From my understanding the receptions have always been 3 hours, with the option to extend $15 per person per hour. I believe the 4 hour DJ option is there in case you do decide to extend your reception it would be cheaper than paying hourly. The hourly rate is $350 per hour.

    Mine provides a glass of wine but I'm going to hang out at my sisters house first and I'll def be having a glass or 2 there as well! I think if you can bring yourself to do it, you'll be happy you did! I know my FI will be shocked, he would never expect this from me!

    I thought about that, but we opted to not get dessert because we had the wedding cake, so we would get 2 extra h'odourves at cocktail hour. And I already made my menus... Oh man, even if changed it, I doubt anyone will notice.. Under dessert on the menu, all I wrote was Wedding Cake anyways. Oh, I'm so confused! And we only have a maid of honor and 2 bestmen that will be taking pictures during cocktail hour to that's only 3 people missing it! It would just be soo embarrassing if we completely ran out of apps at cocktail hour!

    Quick question Kristen, I don't see it listed on here, but is the 11% tax and 18% service fee added to EVERYTHING or just the food?

    Past Brides, I'm suddenly so full of questions! How big is the wedding cake included in the Divine Package? As of right now, we are expecting around 59 guest! WAY more than we planned for! We originally thought about 35ish. Holy costs are adding up! Do you think we would be okay to add extra wedding cake for maybe around 25 extra people instead of 34 extra people? Also, the h'odourves for cocktail hour, instead of adding 34 extra, do you think we could get by with adding 25 extra also? I know they include 5 for each person, we are just trying to pinch pennys where we can! Hoping this will work. I've heard some brides who had 35 people total didn't add any extras and were fine. So I'm hoping I can get a way with just adding some extra but not enough for every single guest to have 5 each. My idea of a small intimate wedding is totally out the window! :-( I'm trying to come to terms with having so many people, the majority of which I don't even know and have never even met! Still better than having a local wedding with 200+ guest attending!

    Well Dang! I can't find an email from Pilar stating that the sound system is included for the ceremony! Dang! Maybe I read it on here and just got confused! Ugh! Oh well, guess we'll have to add another $150+ tax onto the bill

    Ugh! I'm sorry, I would be super frustrated too! I am not sure about the chairs, I'm using the regular chairs but I'm confused what you mean by paying double or paying a $40 set-up fee. I have heard about a set up fee to set up the supplies you bring, but what do you mean by double? You have to pay for the chairs for ceremony AND reception? I was under the impression they just transfer them from the ceremony to the reception? We are having a DJ in place of the live music for 2 hours. We are paying $350 for each additional hour. I was also told that the speakers are included for the ceremony in the Divine Package as well. I wasn't told anything being included in the reception. I wonder if that was a typo? Well, I suppose I didn't answer any of your questions! I just realized I asked you even more questions! Sorry

    I love the first look pictures but I wouldn't want to do them. That's one of the few traditions we want to keep is him seeing me for the first time as I wash down the aisle. However, some of the pictures I have seen are so cute! Kristen - As for ceremony music, we are having 4 songs as guest wait (not sure if they will all be played, I just guessed) one song for processional (mothers, maid of honor, bestmen), one song for me & a recessional.

    Awesome! I'm hoping for the same. I've already been corresponding with them and they haven't said anything about it yet so my fingers are crossed... Any surprises on your final bill?
