I'm curious what everyone else is dong as well. I def like tan linen suits. We are having a small wedding party, just a maid of honor and 2 best men. I want all the guys in linen suits. How would you suggest the groom standing out from the BM? a different colored tie? I'm confused by this. I want him to stand out a little different.

Where is your wedding location? Just my opinion, but I would be offended if I got invited to a destination wedding and was not given the option to bring a guest. In all honesty, I would not attend. I would not pay that much money to go and not be able to travel with my significant other or a travel companion. I'm giving all my guest the option to bring one guest. However, I have a 19 year old cousin that said to me the other day that she has 3 friends that want to go to Mexico. I said "Sure, no problem, I wouldn't stop anyone from going on vacation, but you have to pick ONE of them to attend the wedding events and the other 2 can find something else to do for a few hours".

I've heard this too.. I think it's kinda hit or miss. Some people get them through, some don't. I think I'm still considering trying it as well.

Another question! I need some clarification. The Wedding Information guide Pilar sent to me list a DJ for $1000 for 4 hours. But isn't the reception only 3 hours? Also, the guide she sent me is from 2012. Does anyone have the 2013 wedding info guide?

Thank You! I found a belt/sash similar at Davids Bridal but it like tied in the back and was really long in the back. I just want the belt/blingy part and not all the extra slack in that back. Was yours tied in the back? If so, what did you do with it?

I'll be thinking about it too and I'll let you know what I come up with. Thankfully we have some time but I have a feeling times going to go by fast! I do want to have maracas and thought about tying a name tag on each with the entree selection but I also want to have the cute saying about "shaking the maraca" and it's too much to have 2 tags on the maraca. Would it be too much to have names & entree on one side and the saying about shaking the maraca on the other side?

Wow. That must be frustrating! 2 weeks from leaving and they still have not booked! That would drive me insane! I think 30-31 people is still a good amount of people! You'll have a fantastic day! How many people did you send actual STD's and invites to? We sent a little over 100. I'm hoping for less than half that! My future mother-in-law insisted on inviting everyone we would invite to a local wedding. But I am really hoping for around 30-40. Any more than that will be too expensive!

We also sent out our save the dates and people are already responding on our website that we really thought wouldn't come. We still have long time to go and I still doubt a lot of these people! I'll believe it when they actually book. It's easy for people to say "yes, i'm coming!" but when it comes down to actually paying and booking, it's another story. I get surprised when I see other brides on the forum getting married around the same time as me and they already have a good amount of people booked already. It's still 11 months out and I don't see anyone booking anytime soon. I wish they would so I could have SOME kind of idea how many people we'll have but I guess I understand. I never book vacations this far in advance.

Feels like I'll never hit 150!
