Does anyone have an exact script of what the resort uses for a symbolic ceremony? I'd love to read it and more than likely make some changes.

I agree! I would love to have went and looked at some resorts before I booked at my resort but it was just too expensive! Now that I'm already booked, I'm not sure I'd wanna go! I'd be devastated if I didn't like the resort I chose! I've never even been to Mexico! With this website and travelocity, I feel like I know everything anyways! For those that are able to go down and see everything in person, your lucky!

You did such a great job on everything! I've tried to make the stirrers and they aren't coming out right! Do you happen to have a template? I first tried it with address labels but no luck. I've tried with the avery 5163 shipping labels I just don't know how to get it on there the correct way! I"m getting frustrated!

I haven't been married yet but I am using the resort photographer. If you follow Now Jade on facebook alot of brides post the link to their photos. Now, they are not nearly as beautiful as some that I've seen from Del Sol, etc but they'll do just fine for me. It just depends on your budget. I can not afford to use an outside photographer. I'm pretty sure they use Adventure Photos.

Oh wow! Then I think that is incredibly rude on their part! What makes them think they can just keep them money if he cannot go?? Some people amaze me. I honestly am not sure what I would do in your situation. Part of me would want to say screw it and not plan anything for them since they are doing that, but another part of me says to be the bigger person and plan it. I'm no help! Sorry!! That's a tough one. Is the deposit refundable? I think that makes a big difference. Are they just intentionally keeping your fiances money or is it out of their control?

Whew! Glad I'm not the only one that feels like this! We invited about 130. Only about 40 are from my side! The rest are his family, friends and his parents friends (some of which his mother hasn't seen in years!!!) We sent our STD's in June and, every day she sends me a text saying "Please add such and such to the list". I ask my FI who such and such is and half the time he has NO CLUE! The list is getting bigger and bigger! I really hope no more than 30-40 come! Mostly for money reasons. I'm so happy we aren't having a local wedding. If we were, I wouldn't even know half of the guest that attend! That would just be really weird. We are still far out and nobody has booked but people have told us they are coming and a few that have said that, we know will not come. Lots of people are all talk until it comes time to pay. Another thing with such a huge list are ordering invitations. They are expensive! STD's weren't a problem b/c I ordered them free from Vistaprint but I can't seem to find "cheap" invitations I like. Once you add a RSVP card 140 invitations are like over $250.00! If anyone has a better idea, please help. I'm leaning towards ordering beachy matte Rack Cards from Vistaprint and using them as invitations. Then using a vistaprint postcard as the RSVP. They won't look 'traditional' at all, but i don't really care about that. It will be more than half the price of traditional invitations. I just can't see spending $250 plus on invitations and I'm not a good DIY person!

Thanks for sharing! Since they are also serving as escort tags, did you put the guest name and table number on the other side of the tag? I was thinking about doing this as well and I'm just so confused! Did you have them set up at a table before the guest entered the reception?

I think you can only do the buffet if you have 50 people or more. I've never heard of anybody that did a plated dinner and a buffet though so I'm not sure about that.

Studio suits seems like a great deal but I'm terrified that I'd mess the measurements up!
