    I agree. I'm just kinda frustrated. I really wanted a small/intimate wedding & we are up to like 57 guest, only 8 from my family with a few couples that are mutual friends of my FI & I. But a large chunk of ppl I don't even know. Alot of them, it seems my FI doesn't even know. Ill ask him "Who's such and such?" & his reply is "Hmmm, sounds familiar, but I'm not sure, ill have to ask my mom." Just kinda frusterating. I am honored that so many people are coming to share our special day but so much for my idea of a small/intimate wedding. I know 57 isn't a large wedding compared to some local weddings, but just not really what I originally planned for a destination wedding. However, I'm realizing if we had a local wedding, I'm confident our guest list would hit 200+ so ill take 57 (and counting, hopefully not to much over that!)

    Is anyone else having people rsvp yes but not booking? I have about 12 people who have done this and I'm just wondering if they will really book.

    Haha! I just had to check b/c I scheduled our ceremony at 5 and I'm only 3 weeks behind you! It scared me for a moment so I had to double check!

    Thanks ladies! Here's a few more things: Bubbles: 8 for $1 at Dollar Tree (FYI, I stopped by there the other day to grab a pack and they said they are discontinuing their wedding section so go grab some while they still have them!) It's the best deal... 56 bubbles for $7, you can't beat that! Programs: My ceremony bubbles, programs, and fans... They will be displayed on each seat like this: Sorry! Does anyone know how to flip these? It looks fine before I upload it, then it switches...

    re Unfortunately, the receptions are only 3 hours. It is $15 per person to extend it an hour.

    We are doing the same thing but we were quoted $350 per additional hour! So much inconsistency! We really want a DJ, so we'll be paying it!

    Megan - Is there a way to edit the the link you posted where you ordered your first ones where the tubes came empty? I wonder if that's also confusing people to order the wrong ones? I can't believe this company haven't made this more clear. I'm so sorry this happened! I would try contacting them again and speaking with someone else.

    I was hoping for no more than 30 people. We sent out 150 invites, inviting everyone we would invite to a local wedding and looks like we will have about 55 guest join us in Cancun. I'm delighted that so many guest are coming, but I really wasn't expecting it. I know its not a 'large' wedding compared to the number of guest people have at a local wedding, but it's still more than I wanted... I'm getting so nervous. I don't like being the center of attention. What makes it even worse is only about 10 guest are from my family ;( I'm also starting to feel like I'll have to entertain people the whole trip and won't even be able to enjoy my vacation... I REALLY hope that's not the case! I'm sure people will be doing their own thing, I just feel like that.

    Wow! I am amazed that you have 40 people booked and your so far out! We didn't have our first guest booked until January which was 6 months out from our wedding! You've got some committed guest coming with you! ;-)
