I'm using a florist down there. she is charging me 80$ for my bouquet of 2 dozen lavender roses and 40$ for each bridesmaids bouquet of aqua and lavender gerbera daisies, 7$ per bout. I think she is very reasonable and because she has her own shop you have more of a selection. I know my bouquet is a little pricey but it's cause it's considered custom (lavendar roses have a significant meaning in our relationship so I was willing to pay whatever) another bride posted a review of her and the flowers were beautiful. How have people gone about getting their OOT bags to their guests? will the hotel take the responsibility and put them in the rooms for you? or have people just handed them out themselves?

I'm pretty sure for the symbolic ceremony, you can write your own ceremony, since it is not done by a judge. I'm having a lady who owns a shop and teaches sewing lessons make my bags out of a fabric I chose , she's only charging me a $1 a bag.

I agree choosing the menu is so hard. I think I'm going with the t-bone as the main course I'm thinking that it's basic so most people will like it. Our wedding is June 2011, so you beat me.. I'm also concerned with people booking but I don't think you'll be treated any differently, it's a wedding and regardless of the size of the group their making money off of you. I think the gifts are the hardest tasks I've had to do.. lol I got them all starfish necklaces and flip flops for the ceremony. then little stuff, luggage tags, island hand sanitizer,and koozies.. I was thinking of getting them all a gift card to a place that they like.. What are your thoughts on the gift cards?? my mother suggested making them a movie basket with tickets and snacks??? I'm so confused

What is everyone doing for flowers? I've been trying to find a florist in Punta Cana so I have more options and I can keep costs down by making my own bouquets ( I have 10 bridesmaids). The flowers have been stressing me I'm so picky with flowers lol
