    I know the resort charges 300$ I read somewhere that a bride paid about 900$ for dj mannia, I'm not sure if that's a flat rate or depends on what you want. I know she had a dance floor and a lot of lighting with her package

    Where did this mandatory dinner come from? Did this actually come from Carolina? Nothing I have says that you have to have the private dinner if you have more than 20 guests. This definitely would make me reconsider this hotel. I sent her an email this morning, so we'll see what she says.

    I have more than 20 guests as well. I was unaware that the private dinner was mandatory. We'll definitely have to investigate this

    I always thought family and friends from both the bride and the grooms family were invited

    You have to do what you want. No one has to know if you do end up paying for her. I had the same issue with my best friend. But I know she could of saved up for it, so paying for her was out of the question for me.

    I had the same issue. although my hotel splits the guest pass into 2 for the whole day. so it would be 120/per person not staying at the hotel I just told people that they would have to pay for the day pass themselves. Etiquette or not, we just can't afford it. We picked this resort because it was the most affordable

    I'm having a bridal shower and its serving as my AHR people have opinions about everything. my shower guest list is at 90 and I only sent out 40 wedding invites

    I'm in the same boat. I have finished everything possible without a head count. and I feel that the rsvp's will be a disaster, people never rsvp, and I'm sure I'll be making a lot of follow up phone calls
