I def think that alot of us kind of second guess ourselves....my advise would be to stop looknig at other resorts! also, i did not give my guests other hotel choices, i clearly have stated that the Royal and the sister hotel are great hotels, and if they stay at other resorts they will not be able to spend any time with you guys other than the day of the wedding......that pretty much sold everyone.......I am a Royal in Cancun bride not a PDC bride......i know alot of people would want to stay at a cheaper hotel but once they saw pics of the Royal they couldnt resist......1/2 of your guests is alot of people to have staying at other resorts.....that's just how i see it.....I want to be able to spend sometime with everyone and not have to pay the hefty per non-resort guest charge...........Is there a reason why those guests have decided against the Royal?

Bonnie---your invites look awesome!!! love them!!! Oh how much i miss working on mine! There's alot of cutting involved but the finish product is so worth it! you did such a great job!!

I sent out my invites on November 1st! I think it just varies by person..... I just couldnt wait lol haha Jess! I love that you still check in! YAY for the teasers and the review on sunday!!! we also used Cancun Transfers when we went to Cancun in June....they were great! I actually booked them thru the airport website just two days before the trip.....super affordable!

Hi! the resort does provide standard centerpeices.....i will attach a pic below.....it is basically a wooden box thingy with sand, and a luminary candle.....not bad if you ask me......it is super expensive to get actual floral centerpieces from teh resort......if you need info on a local florist with great prices for bouquets, BM bouquets centerpieces etc, please let me know...... We got engaged at the Royal back in June and took some pictures with Funever photos that same day, prior to getting engaged! Lisa- What can i say.....your wedding was absolutely beautiful!! your dress, makeup, colors, everything! gorgeous!!!! I am using Ivan Luckie too for our photos....I am so happy that you liked him! Hi, Thank you so much!! Trust me these DIY invites are very possible....you just need to have patience as it takes time to put everything together and print, cut, etc! I did research alot of passport invites in this forum....DIY ones and professional ones....and borrowed alot of ideas as well as molded some to my liking...... Aylees template can be changed to any color....you just have to play around with the colors that you want.......Teal is a beautiful color!! have you thought of adding a second contrast color? that would be nice! The free RSVP cards i got from vista print using an old email that someone provided here that had a bunch of free offers........but you can easily google "free vista print postcards" or something like that.....and you should be able to find something.....the postcard that i used can be found on vista print, under postcards and then under "travel & Accomodations" industry...... I printed these on a Dell V515w all-in-one Inkjet printer.....which handles heavy paper......a standard printer wouldnt print the black ink dark enough.......as it was not suited to print on heavier paper........for the specific paper that i bought laser printers did not work.....i had to use Inkjet.....so this is something to consider when ordering your paper..... MAC book pros do not come with Photoshop.....my brother already had this program which he had to purchase........but Aylees template is on Microsoft Word....i just copied it to photoshop since i was having my brother help with it! alot of ladies here used word and power point as well......even Microsoft Publisher........ I can't beleive you have the same package as me!! we are having the catholic wedding at the Gran Caribe followed by a beach reception at the Royal......Please contact me if you have any questions or want to share any info on the process! OMG love your review!! I have a question about the sound system- was it loud enough? we are planning on using the sound system instead of hiring a DJ for almost 1k!! our wedding in next June, ceremony at the Catholic Chapel and reception on the beach by the Royal.....I love the resort, we visited this past June, and this is where we got engaged so it's dear to my heart! I can't wait to see your pictures!!! Please let us know once you have them!

Diahr- WOW! I cant believe you are going through this, especially with your FI's dad! WTF! how can they back out....i am so sorry you have to go through this.....i cant even imagine! especially since you have everything all set and booked...what do they expect you to move your wedding and change everyhting?? I think it's safe to say that the show must go on. they could've said something 6 months ago and on top of that they should've been honest and told you that they are just scared to go to mexico......you can't force people to go if they are scared, so i think that's a legit excuse.....but to say they have no money when they obviously do, it's complete BS..........and you should obsolutely not have to throw a AHR just to please them, especially if you guys are paying for everything...........i wish you luck with everything girl!
