  1. I'm sorry, the flipflop playing cards are gone! You can find them online for a slightly higher price at orientaltrading.com
  2. Hey ladies!! I have 11 flip flop playing card decks from Oriental Trading. They are still for sale if you need more than 11, but this should get you started for cheaper! $5 for all, plus shipping. I also have a size 7-8 Just Married Flip Flops that were only worn once for my TTD and are in close to new shape. $5 for the pair, plus shipping. and lastly a small white rhinestone Bride tank top -- $5 plus shipping.

  4. Thanks! The shoulder strap can absolutely be removed. I actually had the strap moved from one side to the other to match my wedding dress, so the stitching would just simply need to be removed. I am asking $99 plus shipping.
  5. Aww...I really wish I could say yes, but I think 5'7 might be pushing it. I actually wore it with flipflops and it touched the group, so I would say 5'5 would be good, maybe even 5'6, but I don't think above that, unless you would be ok with it being a little short. There may be a little plan at the bust line to 'drop' the dress to make it a little longer (if that makes ANY sense), but the hem is was cut and sew and can't be adjusted. I'm sorry ( If its a dress you really love you could try pricing it out at your local bridal shops? You won't find it for this price, but you can still find it I would think. Its a Bill Levkoff bridesmaids dress -- style # 678 -- in ivory.
  6. Tres Leches isn't listed as an option, I just asked for it and she said yes! If you are getting the free cake, you will have 3 different options for decoration -- in heart shape, round or square. I would talk to Yesenia about the outside photographer. There are certain vendors they allow, but I know they are trying to crack down on that. I would just try the defense that you have spoken to plenty of brides who have gotten their photogs approved and hopefully they'll bend. It's really not fair to a bride to not give them an option! As far as pics, if you add me on facebook you can see all of my pics under the "Our wedding" and "trash the dress" albums! My link is https://www.facebook.com/jszy10
  7. Hey Joanne! The dress is Ivory. I honestly don't think that sizing 'down' is ever an issue, unless you were going from something extreme like a 16 to a 2. I wear a dress/pant size 4, which would be this designers size '6'. I don't think it would lose its shape at all. I hope this helps!! Let me know if you have any other questions!
  8. Hmmm...heaven? lol I LOVED it, and so did my guests. The cake is like a vanilla cake soaked in 3 "tres" different kinds of cream/milk "leches". It is very moist and creamy! I actually had it at El Greco for lunch on my first day there and absolutely loved it. The only issue I would say you would have is keeping out for long periods of time. They had my cake out when I arrived to the reception and I asked them to put it in the fridge until we were ready for it so that it stayed cool. If you PM me your email I will send you the document no problem ) but she should definitely have it too!
  9. You know what Amber, Tres Leches wasn't listed as an option for me either. I just told her that was what I wanted and she said "OK!" haha. I chose the Chantilly -- its close to a buttercream -- and she put chocolate shells/coral/etc. on it. Here is a picture of my cake: and I did not pick any kind of set menu at Mundaca. I did see that somewhere as a "recommendation", but she never mentioned it to me at the meeting. It would definitely be frustrating to get wrong information!!! I would just email her back with ALL of your specific details again to be clear, and then save/print it! I can't help you with the maracas terrace because I'm not familiar, but I do have the "Private Events" document if you want to see it? It does have some small pictures.
  10. Hey Irene!! Congrats and welcome!! I would probably suggest giving a half hour between your ceremony and cocktail party. After our ceremony we had the champagne toast, mingled a little and then did family pictures, so that would be wasted time for a cocktail hour to start I think? Maybe it depends on how big of a group you are having? I only had 16, so everyone was involved in some way with family/group pictures. We got tres leches for our cake and LOVED it. As far as the photog goes, I just told Yesenia who we were using and she "approved" him as an outside vendor, then I just had to pay for a visitors pass for him for the day. I used Octavio Montes and was VERY happy with his work and pricing.
  11. What's nice is that you have to have the event planned in advance, but you can always change the location once you get there. I changed my wedding location 2 days before the wedding!
  12. Hmm...I am SO not the right person to answer this question lol. I didn't have a private event to start, and it is actually really hard to even know where those pictures in the "private events" document even are. Are your guests Adult Only?? If so I think I would stay away from the Mundaca Inlet because that would be on the cove side. From what it seems, I maybe would suggest the Cenote Inlet? I believe that was is going to be a bit off to the side of the crowd. I think the Central inlet is going to be right below the pool? I could be wrong!?!?
  13. If you check out the original post on the first page you can see how mine worked out and how exactly I did it!
  14. I definitely think that it was a beautiful addition to our ceremony. I had such "tunnel vision" that I don't really remember even hearing it, but my husband said it was really nice and I got a lot of compliments from my guest. Plus they added harpist music in my wedding dvd for it. I didn't pick any songs, I just let him play whatever. I do believe I have heard of people picking specific music to play though? I just told my WC that I wanted a harpist and she took care of everything. As for the ceremony, here is the standard script that they use -- I brought a sand ceremony script that my matron of honor read in addition to that, but I think if you wanted to add more you could. 15. Yeah!! I know, we are excited to be able to go and just truly relax and enjoy ourselves. Even after the wedding was over we still kind of felt like it took a little while to "wind down" so we are really excited to go again and to spend some time at a different resort. My husband loves snorkeling, so we are going to do a lot of that in Cozumel..maybe do a resort scuba dive... you can use your resort dollars to swim with stingrays there too!
  16. Oh and PS ladies...JUST booked our anniversary trip back!! We are going to ASP for 3 nights and spending our actual anniversary date with hopefully an amazing night back there, and then we are off to Cozumel Palace for 4 nights to try something new! ) so excited!!
