I have been reading a lot on here and got to look through some pictures!! I can't tell what restaurants are what...I will definitely ask! I am seeing a lot of people write that there are sometimes multiple weddings in a day there, so I feel almost like I should pick certain things before we get there and its too late!?

I was wondering if anyone could give some insight on dining options at Aventura Spa/Cove Palace. I'm curious what the locations of them are like (views, privacy, etc.) and which ones would be best for a reception dinner? I would love to be outside with a view of the water. I feel like I read somewhere that a bride had their dinner on a terrace of a restaurant that was practically a private event without having to pay for one. Any thoughts??

If you absolutely love it, it's yours!! I think it looks great and it being lightweight and that price is just icing on the cake! With that price too, you should do a trash the dress photo shoot!! You wouldn't even have to feel bad about how much you spent on it! and TTD shoots are always amazing!

Can you choose table cloth colors if you aren't having a private reception?? I am going to be having dinner at one of the restaurants...any suggestions on which?? I did hear of one bride who chose the restaurant with a terrace and she said her reception was practically private without paying for a private one. I would love to do this!!

I know!! Same!! Snacks will be cheap to put in...I plan on putting basic medicines too. I'm still deciding what I even want to put in it. I feel like so many people are prepared when they pack that it's hard to decide what would be useful.

I hear you!!! I am getting married in Mexico in JUNE...I KNOW I'm going to be hot. I had two dresses that I liked, but I was fighting with myself between the dress I knew was best for the location, and the dress I loved the most. In the end, I ended up ordering the dress that I loved the most. If the dress is something you absolutely love, and you can't get it off of your mind, that's your dress!! The salon I ordered my dress through gave me tips on things they could do to make the dress "lighter" feeling without losing the look of the dress, and it was exactly what I wanted to hear. I will be changing into a dress for my dinner and dancing, so if I'm hot for an hour, it will be totally worth it to have the dress I am totally in love with. Here is the dress I chose....and i'm not worried about the heat, because I absolutely LOVE it. Hope this helped!! and good luck! Let us know what you choose

I am very anxious to find out everything I can about weddings at the resort I'm going to and also looking forward to sharing my ideas and see other posts to help me prepare for our special day!

I am getting married in Riviera Maya next June and will be having OOT bags placed in every room before my guests arive. I found these bags and thought they would be perfect! The majority of my guests are already married, so I think they will appreciate the cute image -- look closely! I could save money and buy $2-3 plain bags instead, but thought it would be cute.
