  1. I'm sure with that many invitee's that you'll qualify! Good luck!!
  2. I think it's way too expensive for what I want too...I'm only having 35 or less guests because we want to keep it really small, so we are just going to have our dinner in a restaurant...we will at least qualify for a private cocktail party. I'm having a reception when I come back home, so we can have it private then!!
  3. wow!!!! I think you'd be better off using a wholesale company!! Here are a few websites: Namifiers ? Custom Lanyards, Name Tags, ID Badges, Vinyl Banners, Outdoor Signs Promotional tote bags custom sizes and styles from cheap totes now with t-shirts and screen printing
  4. my FI has used them for his business too, but I never realized how much of a deal you can really get through them!! If you are patient, you get so many things for free!! I'm ordering a tote, t-shirt, pen and post-its ALL free...just $4.41 in shipping!!
  5. Found the image, its one of VISTA's options!! I'm buying for free as we speak!! (Vistaprint is GREAT!!)
  6. thanks so much for sharing!!! I'm using VistaPrint too!! You can't lose!!
  7. angelov: This is what the palace resorts website says about private functions!! Private wedding function: $400 USD per table of 10 guests Includes standard décor. (Tablecloth and napkins). Event includes function space, menu, 2 hours of open bar service. Buffet and platted dinner services require a minimum of 20 guests. Platted dinner is offered in indoor areas only. Additional hour of staff service is $60 USD, per table
  8. They never tell how long sales will last....as of today the regular postcards aren't free anymore, BUT the oversized postcards are free now...so maybe that will work for you?? If you go to their website and click "specials", they continually change them.
  9. Use the code SUNSHIP and get 1 free plus free shipping!!!
  10. ahhh still have the receipt!? order online and take them back!!! :oP They have several different scents, not just the citrus
  11. nicdeb -- did you choose a wedding collection or are you doing the complimentary?? I chose the amber collection but am trying to decide if its worth the money...
  12. nicdeb -- don't base your calandar on me!! haha..this is just the kind of person I am ) I love to plan, plan, plan! I think I'm just so excited to go that this keeps me busy haha. I would love to hear about your experience when you come back!! If if make you feel any better then only reason why I'm thinking about 'itinerary' now is because I wanted to put a page on my passport invitation to show the guests I will have things planned to be with them when they travel all that way :oP
  13. Angelov -- I don't know for sure, but I believe that what you are paying for with the private function are your own private bartenders and servers, which is why they only supply them for two hours and would charge you extra for more. The food and drinks are technically 'free'. Hope this helps?
  14. lint rollers are a great idea!! I'm going to write that one down on my list! and maybe mints/gum?? Your bags look great!! Where did you get the Jamaica image? I want to put a Mexico image on mine!
  15. Will you be having drinks at your shower? What about having coconut cups for the guests to drink out of and take home You can find them on oriental trading for between $1-1.50 per cup (sold by the dozen). Also, I am using kate aspen's lemonade mix for my favors -- she offers lemonade, raspberry iced tea and key lime margarita mixes. It's not exactly 'hawaiian, but they look like tropical drinks?? Here is a link to check them out, however you can find them cheaper on other websites. Search "froogle.com" for the best prices! I found my lemonade favors for $2-3 a piece. lemonade mix
  16. Yeah, I love them! Can't beat the price! I'm going to make postcard invitations to send with them!
  17. I just designed and ordered my response postcards from VistaPrint for FREE! They offer you 100 postcards for free, you just pay $6 shipping! Yes, I am WAY ahead of schedule, but when things are cheap...I say go for it!! Here are the postcards I designed. I'm not going to need all 100, but when they're free, they're free! The image I chose for the front is one of the 'travel' images they offer.
  18. Does anyone here have suggestions for planned activities around the resort? I would like to give my guests a short 'itinerary' of things to look forward to on the days leading up the wedding. So far I was thinking a welcome cocktail party at one of the bars, and possibly a pool party to get everyone together by the pool. Any ideas
  19. Vintage Bride - I'm so glad you said that!! I was planning on sending my invites this fall for my June destination wedding -- which will include travel information and an RSVP date...I was thinking with a destination wedding invites need to be out earlier than 2-3 months, like with a traditional wedding?? Skadow -- maybe you can push up the date of when you send your invites out and give an RSVP date...that will maybe show everyone the final information on how/where/when to book and a date to book by??
  20. I think I would be lost on how to get the gold lettering so bright on the dark blue card stock...how did you do that?? Also, do you have a picture of the postcard that you gave as the RSVP card?? That sounds great too!
  21. I absolutely love them!!!!!!! Do you have a template you would be willing to share!?!?! I am sure you guys put a LOT of work behind these..I think this is what I want to do now!!!
