  1. I agree with Andrea too...regardless of what happens, I can't see her flaunting it around on your wedding day or any of the events that you have!
  2. You have to make several orders -- 1 of each item per order...i ordered 1 t-shirt, tote, post-it, and pen per order
  3. I think the jupiter red matches the actual card more, but I love how fun the orange flame is!! I chose orange!
  4. I think this is so hard!!! Especially because this is a whole trip away for you! If you were at home, having a traditional wedding, it wouldn't be such an issue, but because this is being away and you get to celebrate your wedding for a few days (which is why I am so excited about my DW!!!!) it makes it harder. Maybe your FI can just sit hiim down and talk to him about it (I mean...he is the BM, so they should be pretty close?) and explain how much this trips means to you as you prepare to celebrate for your special day, maybe he will completely understand? I don't think it is harsh to ask him to wait until the day after Haha..have him tell his BM that she will be so much more hyped up after watching the two of YOU get married, that the morning after, at sunrise, she could just be blown away about how now SHE gets to plan hers!! hope that help!?! )
  5. Mkandola -- let me know if you have any questions. I just got all of my stuff. I even chose their "slow" shipping and it didnt even take more than 10 days (it says 21!). Vistaprint is great and everything turned out great!
  6. Hey everyone!! I was wondering if anyone here has ever used Kinko's or other companies for any printing jobs? I want to try and do DIY Passport Invitations, but I know my home printer won't do the job I want it to do -- I want to include color pictures and designs and I want them to look as professional as possible. Any suggestions?
  7. they look great!!!!! I have been debating on whether or not to try and make passport invites myself or have them made, and this has really showed me that I can trust someone to make them for me!! Rebecca did a great job!!!
  8. Kathie -- congrats!!! ) I could imagine how long it took you!!! I actually only did 16 for now (i'm giving 1 per room because all rooms are couples) and I felt so crazy after ordering that many times!! Which design did you choose!? Did you keep everything consistant? That's so great!! That is less than $3 a bag for all of that stuff!! You should feel very accomplished )
  9. Yes, you can pay something like $1 - 1.50 to NOT have that on there...if you can see in my picture above, I left it on. It is pretty small, but might be worth it to take it off? It's all in preference I think.
  10. Vistaprint offers their own "themed' pictures for free...they have some nice beach/palm tree/flower/etc. ones to choose from
  11. My resort is AI but I still plan on including snacks...I know from traveling a lot that it is always nice to have things to snack on in the room! Minimus.biz has good examples of what to put in as snacks... Out Of Towner Welcome Snacks - for all your travel size needs Out Of Towner Welcome Snacks Deluxe - for all your travel size needs I like the idea of cookies, chips, bars, etc.
  12. I also created my bags using VistaPrint. I used one of their included templates and just made it into a "souvenir" type bag for Riviera Maya in general. I agree that if you make it plain (ie, without names/etc.), guests are more likely to get use out of them after the trip is over. I signed up for their email list and received an email with a list of things for free...I made 20 separate orders (time consuming, yes...but worth it for me) of 1 tote bag, t-shirt, post-its and pen each and received them all for free -- I just paid $4.40 shipping per order.
  13. thanks for sharing!!! Now...to find one in my area :oP The ad says it is for July 18 - 24..
  14. Kathie They do offer a lot of things that are only 1 free...I just ordered tote bags, pens, notepads and tshirts all for free for my OOT bags, and how you do it is that you have to place several orders. I ordered 1 of each of those items per order and only paid $4.40 in shipping per order. They allow you to place as many orders as you want, and as long as you only have 1 per order, they are continually free -- you just pay for individual shipping. I actually just received all of my things on Saturday and am SO happy!! Let me know if you need more help! They send 'free' emails ALL the time!
  15. Thanks everyone!! Not near as fancy as others, but definitely budget friendly! Knitgirl -- let me know your email and I'll send it over!
  16. They are both SO cute!! I had a hard time voting!! ) I picked #1, it's playful! haha and just noticed the undies!!! Photoshop it no problem!
  17. I saw this similar design on a website and thought I could make it myself! I printed them out on a beige/yellow scrapbook paper and attached magnet tape to the back! Perfect and very inexpensive! I have the template in a Word document, but can't seem to upload it here? Feel free to let me know if you'd like it!
