Definitely just sign up for their email list...I get emails several times a week offering almost everything you could want free!! If you want several of one thing free (like totes or t-shirts), you have to make several orders. Some offers are only for 1 free, some offers are for several free. I made 20 orders of 1 t-shirt, 1 tote, 1 pen and 1 notepad -- very time consuming, but all I paid was shipping!!

This is one of the first cakes I saved, and I still love it. Very simple, but beautiful. I would change the orchids to tiger lilies because that is my wedding flower...but some of these cake ideas may change my mind!

I've been wondering this too!! As of right now, my thoughts are to have a welcome cocktail party on the first night and some sort of pool party/beach fun-day the next day (volleyball, etc.). I found a really cute 'daily newsletter' for guests that we may use for telling guests where we will be and what activities are going on day-to-day. I didn't want to plan too much because I know we will be preparing for the wedding and a lot of my guests are treating this as their summer vaca. LOVE this question!! I have so many guests (both of our parents included) that have never even been out of the US, so think experience will be pretty new for everyone. My FI's best man went to a DW last year and loved every minute! I'll be interested in hearing more responses! It is always helpful to hear from a different perspective!

I vote to keep the same! If you had tropical colors for your DW, I might feel differently, but the purple and silver work in the winter I think!

I'm inviting everyone to my AHR!! I think some of the guests who didn't get to come to your wedding would love to spend time with those who did!

I may be crazy, but I am actually having my AHR the weekend after we get back from our honeymoon!! I wanted it to be really close so it was still "fresh". But I do not by far think it would be wierd for someone to wait awhile!!

Does anyone know if you can hire the resort photographer to do a TTD session??? and one more!! ) Past brides....did you or any of your guests take advantage of the use of the other palace resorts? I'd like to let my guests know that they can go to other palace resorts to do other things too, but I wasn't sure exactly which ones they provide transportation to?
