  1. ( I feel like ASP brides have disappeared!!! Skadow: Have you looked at the sunset schedules on the internet? In February the sun sets around 5:30. The only thing I would worry about is it setting too early on your pictures?? I have heard brides mention that pictures took at least an hour, and I believe the wedding would take around 30 minutes. Your schedule is about the way I plan to have it -- except my wedding is going to be at 5 (June wedding), cocktail at 6, and dinner around 7:30. From the reviews I have read, this schedule seemed to be the standard of what brides had/liked.
  2. I just realized I have a cartridge for my cricut diecut machine that has a camera on it!!!! I can't wait to make them!!!!
  3. KAT -- I LOVE LOVE LOVE your camera cutout cards!!! stealing it!!! What craft store did you get the camera cutouts from??
  4. lilly -- gergeous!!! My dress has a corset back too...don't you LOVE what it does to your figure!!! You look great, and the dress is beautiful!
  5. Aisha -- please share the link to the wedding bee instructions! I'd love to see them!
  6. I think you should be able to sell a brand new unaltered dress...but if you don't mind losing the $380, that might be your best option. I am honestly a firm believer in really having a dress you love. I ended up spending double what everyone else I know had spent on theirs, and everyone says i'm crazy...but I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. Good luck...I think it really depends on your budget and how much the loss will affect you. One thing to consider is that it is almost guaranteed, no matter what, that you will still lose money on selling it.

That dress is beautiful!! You know what...I called 12 stores to find out no one had the maggie dress that I HAD to try on. I did find out though that Maggie has a "loaner" program that if the dress that you want to try on is a part of it, the store can get it in for you for about a week so that you can try it on!! That is what I had to do! Now my store made me pay $50 to get the loaner in, but they put it towards the purchase of my dress so I didn't care.
  8. frizzy: I made passport invitations using ayleebits's template (the $10 one) and they came out beautiful! You can definitely do it!! But the DIY has great ideas too, some with templates! My STD was very simple, printed on scrapbook paper with magnet tape on the back! template link: http://www.ayleebits.com/2009/03/09/passport-invitation-template/ my std: (I do have a template I can email)
  9. for the girls: I am sending my girls passport covers before we leave, along with a spa menu to choose what they would like to have during our morning at the spa before the wedding. I will be including both my mom and my future MIL in this as well. for the guys: My FI is reserving a chartered deep sea fishing boat for the morning of the wedding to take all of the groomsmen out. He will be including his father and my father in this as well.
  10. Janapana: I think I am getting this for my dad...I will probably get jewelry for my mom. My father has always called me his little princess. This is guaranteed to make him cry! http://www.theweddingoutlet.com/Wedding-Gifts/Newlywed-Keepsakes/From-Baby-to-Bride-Frame
  11. they look great!!! I saved your pictures to help me with mine when the time comes!!
  12. I found these cheap flip-flop playing cards and think they are perfect to include in OOT bags!! I'm ordering them for mine!! http://www.ziggos.com/flip-flop-shaped-playing-cards-1-ct-p-4689.html
  13. I think if this were me, it would depend on how much I put down for a deposit. Do you mind sharing how much you put down for a deposit?? I don't think a size 12 would be too hard to sell? Do you have a picture of the dress?!?
  14. I'm so sorry you have to go through this!! ( Having said that, I feel like sample dresses are discounted..period. I have never heard of someone buying a sample dress at full price. I would definitely fight for everything you can! I agree with the girls that some seamstresses are unreal with how they can alter dresses to fit perfect. Good luck, and please let us know how you make out!!!
  15. wow...well I definitely know that the emails are a sure-fire way! I have never had problems, and actually was extremely suprised that I could make several orders of "free" items with no limit!
  16. I'm sure with all of your friends/family you can work something out!! Definitely with make-up. Good luck!
