Hey girls!! I purchased this ring for my fiance and we found when we received it that we ordered the wrong size. (those online 'measure your own ring size' things aren't very accurate!) It is made of a combination of Tungsten and Titanium and is advertised as being "very durable and scratch-resistant". It has only been tried on once and never worn. The ring is size 11. I'm open to any offers!

Everything looks great!! I didn't have an elaborate engagement story either, but I wouldn't trade it for anything ) Love your budoir pics! I can't wait to do mine!!! I love seeing other peoples album shots because I have no clue what I want to wear for mine! I definitely want to do a jersey shot or two though... My FI always asks for "sexy pics" too so I bet mine will be floored! Where did you get those picture stands? I'm looking for something simple like that for my table #'s at my AHR.

Cute flower! I actually did my invites in a non-traditional way. I sent out a save the date when we picked/confirmed our location and date, and sent out my passport invites about 8-9 months out with reply postcards to send when they were booked. We have a really small, close group going, so I don't find it necessary for me to send something else. I am going to be have an AHR, so right now I am trying to decide when to start making my invites (we are hand making approx. 90 pocket invites) and when I should send them out for a July 9th reception. Any suggestions would be great!

Hey girls!! I just received pictures of the custom wristlets I ordered from FrankieLloyd (http://www.etsy.com/shop/FrankieLloyd) on Etsy and I just had to share them! My colors are orange and "glacier" blue (like tiffany blue), and since the girls are wearing the blue/teal color, and their flowers are orange and white, I wanted to find a wristlet that matched the flowers that they are carrying (and also match the 'mexican atmosphere'!) I ordered them December 2 and he messaged me last night (December 8) to let me know they were shipped already! He said the turn around time was 7-14 days, so I was thrilled! I also ordered his Bride wristlet that he offers for myself. He has SO many different fabric colors/patterns to choose from, and he is very affordable! I got my wristlets for $15 a piece!

Bummer!!! I still haven't heard anything from my TA. It's not that big of a deal to me, but it's definitely a bummer!

FYI Ladies -- the palace resort website now states that you can get up to $2000 resort credit for stays from 9-11 nights and 12 nights or more gets $2500! When I booked it was the flat $1500 for 5+ night?! I just emailed my TA to make sure I could get the higher amount!

I know!! I'm not wearing my dress for the TTD either...so I kind of agree.. I'm sure it will all work out. I'm having an AHR and wearing my dress again, so I guess if I don't get the first dance and cake cutting from the photographer in Mexico, I'll definitely have it from my photographer back home!? Although, its not the same.... My sister-in-law is a photographer..so maybe I can get her to take pictures of us with the cake and of us dancing if he isn't there long enough. I just feel bad doing that because shes a bridesmaid, and she is already doing my hair because shes a hair dresser too!

Taryn I just noticed that you have a TTD scheduled (I do too). I got to thinking that to make things go a little faster maybe we can not spend as much time with bride/groom pics after the wedding and save it for the TTD the next day? I'm SO excited to do a TTD shoot, so I'm really not willing to let go of that We are actually kind of hoping that when it gets closer we may be able to add an extra hour on to our photog too.

I didn't even take time to read this until now but I am in the exact same boat...are you staying with the 4 hours? I can really only afford four also, but I worry too that with the 1-hr of pre-wedding, the ceremony, and the after photos with family and bride/groom shots, I feel like it'll be pushing it. We are just having our reception in the Mundaca steakhouse, so I wonder too if we won't be able to really do the cake cutting ahead of time or even the first dance (I have heard the Mariachi band at the restaurant comes over and will play a song for you to dance too??)

I remember some of you saying that it was hard to use all of the resort credit, so I started thinking that it would be a waste for me to spend cash on things they can use their credit for. I already bought them this necklace from Kohls: and was thinking about buying them a clutch to match their dresses made by someone on Etsy... and maybe a personalized lounge chair cover/towel ... they are supposed to hook onto the back of the chair and they have a pocket to keep your things in. Do you think this would be useful for them at the resort???

hey girls..sort of non-resort question for you... What did you ladies do for your BM gifts? I was going to just pay for all of my girls to get mani/pedis at the spa and spend the morning there before the wedding, but I'm thinking with the resort credit it might make sense for them to use their credit for that and me to get them something else? I was told I can't use my credit on anyone but myself, so I'd be paying cash for them. Regardless, I already bought them starfish necklaces, but I was thinking maybe it would be better to get them a few more things for a regular gift and just let them use their resort credit for mani/pedis? What do you think?
