  1. Hmm...its really a "visual-spatial" thing I guess?? Print out what you have and really pay attention to what prints out where. I know, sounds easier than it is. Do you see that they have you do two copies of the same thing per page? My order in the word document is: First Page -- left side: back page (thank you); right side: front page (quote) Second Page -- left side: picture & wedding info; right side: itinerary ** print first page and second page back to back ** Third Page -- left side: trip tips; right side: invitation wording Fourth Page -- left side: accommodations; right side: travel ** print third page and fourth page back to back ** Maybe this visual will help!?!
  2. FYI girls -- Vanessa (the spa/salon appt. woman) emailed me back today and told me that if I book my spa/salon appointments now that I can still get the 2010 prices because the 2011 prices are technically not "published" yet. So for anyone who hasn't booked yet, I would! I am!
  3. So I jumped the gun on buying goodies for our OOT bags, and now we are expecting less than we had originally planned. Now that our number is set, I can get rid of some of the extras. I would ideally like to get rid of everything together. I have: 7 Riviera Maya tote bags 7 Bath and Body Works Cooling Mists (cooling spray with aloe) 7 Flip Flop playing cards 7 First Aid kits 7 tissue packs 9 hand sanitizers (shout wipes are no longer available)
  4. Ok, I was pretty premature in buying some of my OOT stuff and ended up with some extras. My number is set now for who all is coming, so I can get rid of some of my extras. I would LOVE to sell everything together if possible. I have: 7 Riviera Maya OOT bags 7 Bath and Body Works "cooling mists" (a cooling spray with aloe in it) 7 Flip flop play cards 7 First-Aid kits 7 tissue packs 9 hand sanitizers 10 shout wipes Make your best offer!
  5. I'm almost positive that all palace resorts are the same with their Vaca $$ usage...congrats and happy planning!!
  6. I purchased this ring for my fiance and realized after it arrived that we ordered the wrong size! (we used a print out measuring method - learned my lesson!!) The ring is made of a tungsten/titanium combination and is very durable and scratch resistant. It has a suggested retail value of $249, but I purchased it for $179 on sale. I am looking to get $100 OBO for it. The ring is size 11 and never been worn. Here is a comparable ring that I found online -- http://store.jrdunn.com/product-p/ac0011-wv2146.htm.
  7. Do you mean Vanessa? That is who I had as a contact. I did just email her the other day, still waiting to hear back.
  8. Maybe every 6 months? The first time I saw it was August, and now there is another one in January. I'm not sure if it is valid outside the US?
  9. Ooo I have my ring too!! I'm going to wait for awhile to get it sized though because my engagement ring actually sits inside of the band I bought, and I'm going to have them connected. and I'm definitely not ready to give up wearing my e-ring! )
  10. My sister-in-law is a hair dresser as well , so she is going to do my hair and help with my makeup too! I'm going to book mani/pedis for myself, all of my girls and mine and FI's moms too!
  11. Yay!! I am working on my registries now (trying to get my FI to help...not working so well lol). My bridesmaids dresses and my TTD should be in in just a few weeks and as soon as they are I'm headed for my first dress fitting!! (my gown is already in) Right now I'm just working on buying little things here and there, like I just purchased our toasting set which I looove ), and I think I found a garter that matches my bridesmaids dresses which I think will be cute. I'm headed to my parents house in the beginning of February to start working on my AHR invites with my girls, so I'm excited for that! (I am originally from 3 hours away from where I live now, so my maid of honor and family are back there!)
  12. I feel like I remember seeing somewhere on this thread someone having both photographers. If I remember correctly, I still don't think they said anything? If they do, you can just simply say its a friend! )
  13. Thanks Nicole! My wedding is at 5pm, so that gives me a good idea of how to space things out. The guys are all going on a deep sea fishing trip in the morning, so I won't have to worry about running into my FI at all during the day which is nice. I am getting SO excited for my day to get here and am having a lot of fun buying little things to fill the time ) I'm also glad to hear you say all of the things you were pleased with. I am doing the videographer, the carriage, and the harpist! I am having my cocktail party as my welcome party on Thursday (wedding is Saturday), and was considering getting the trio for that. We can't use vaca $$ on that stuff right?
  14. Yeah!! Their website says "You can collect your wedding gifts any time, as many times as you'd like just by emailing us or going to the "Request Payment" link under "Manage Your Gift Money" when you log in. You can collect your gifts by: Having a check mailed directly to you (regular US post, no additional fees) Via an ACH bank to bank transfer in the US (no additional fees) - the choice is yours! So they send you the money, and you do what you wish! I love it! ) I am from out by the airport -- in the Folcroft/Ridley area. I actually met a bride on here that just got married at my resort and lives 2 blocks down the road! It's crazy!
  15. Nice!! I hope some of my family uses the Palace registry for us!! What is great about it is that no matter what people purchase, Palace resorts gives you the money directly and lets YOU chose how you want to spend it! Where in philly are you from!?! Quote: Originally Posted by perry1217 Hi Jessica! My FI and I will be doing the same thing. We are having ours at Richmond Hall
  16. Alisa Are you doing spa/salon treatments the day of your wedding? I was planning on spending a good part of the morning in the spa, but not sure what my time schedule should be like? Ladies, any suggestions for the amount of time we should set aside on the wedding day to spend in the spa? There are going to be 7 of us and the majority of us are getting mani/pedis, with 6 of them potentially having their hair done after and then me having my hair done last by my sister-in-law.
  17. Wow! The bridal up-do is over DOUBLE in price!! My girls were all going to use their resort dollars for this when it was $42, I wonder if they will anymore at $89?!?! At least the mani/pedis didn't go up that much!
