Thanks! It definitely helped me feel better. I actually don't care much about weight loss either. I really just want to be toned and lose this tummy!! Did you take any measurements or pics?

I'm feeling great, thanks! I am positive I didn't eat enough that day. I do put my exercises on lose it too, so it does allow me to eat a bit more. I start week 3 today!! Core synergistics in 2 hours!! ) I cheated and measured myself Saturday morning (I was feeling sort of bad about myself and was hoping to see some sort of results :oP)...I am still the same weight, still the same hip and waist measurement, but the biggest part of my belly is 1/2" smaller! That was enough for me! I know it has only been 2 weeks, but I guess I get a little unmotivated sometimes when I am not seeing any kind of results. I know it is because I am already kind of small, so it is going to take longer. I'm excited to finish my 30 days and really see where I stand!

Oooh SO exciting! I got my OOT bags from Vista Print, as well as t-shirts and personalized note pads and pens. I made "Oh Sh!t Kits" with first aid kits, shout wipes, antibacterial, tums, gum and tissues. Then I found cooling mist (with aloe) on clearance at Bath and Body Works for the girls. I also bought Spanish for Dummies books at Office Depot for $1. Oh! and I also have flipflop playing cards from Oriental Trading. I'm still trying to think of what else to put in them too. I have throw around the mug idea, but I was curious of how worth it it really was? Did any previous brides feel like their guests got a lot of use out of them?? I'm trying to think of good stuff to put in their for the guys too.. -
Wow...Day 11...I can officially say that P90X has caught up with me. I am EXHAUSTED today. An hour and half of yoga and I wanted to faint..I had to stop and buy a protein bar on the way home because I just felt so nutrient deprived. I am following my calorie count on loseit.com, but I'm starting to feel like I'm not getting enough!? I felt fine until today, and I just feel like I snapped. Hopefully relaxing all night tonight and getting a good nights sleep will start me off good tomorrow. I am going to make eggs tomorrow to give myself a good amount of protein to start my day. Sorry for being negative...had to vent.. :oP But no way I'm quitting!!!

Hey girls! I have been considering getting my girls wet bikini bags, but because I was already done buying their gifts, I was trying not to spend too much more. I found these cute bikini bags from Justice (yes, a little girl's shop!! but I think they're still cute for women!) -- and the best part is that they have a coupon code now to make eveything 40% off -- that makes them about $4.75 each! Good luck!! Rather than maxing out early, try taking a break in between or doing less reps! It is better to get the full well-rounded workout then to peak too early I think!

I have actually noticed even in my 2nd week that I am doing better with the workouts than my first week. I was able to do more reps and I was better with quite a few of the moves that I struggled with. I hate like the first half of yoga! haha by 10 minutes in, I am SO sick of downward dog!!! We considered trading it out for one of the other exercises, but we just sort of feel like he really does have this order and these workouts for a reason. I definitely think it was perfect right in the middle of the week as far as getting the stretching, balance and flexibility in.

I've NEVER tried that!?! I've heard of it before but never really thought it would come out any good. I would love to be able to have a good egg sandwich before work! Soooo much better than cereal :oP To make the sandwich, do you just put the egg mixture in a mug for 1 min!? I might try that tomorrow! Congrats on getting started!! I am doing the lean program, so we don't do plyo (although we do cardio which is a combo of everything -- we do get some plyo with that). I still need to schedule my BD shoot!! But that is definitely motivating me too, on top of my first dress fitting that is scheduled for the end of April. my BD will probably be around the same time!

I wish I had time in the morning to make eggs...LOVE eggs. I love beans too but I'm not good at figuring out how to make them as a side? I really only end up eating them with mexican or chilli? Hate peas, lentils, etc. If I make a starch with dinner, it is always brown rice. Otherwise I just have a protein and double veg.

I know!! I think we are in a similar boat as far as weight loss/toning is concerned. I am 5'4 and weigh 125lbs (127 right now! lol), so I know that I don't really need to lose much weight, but my body needs to change. My midsection is the worst -- love handles, and a bit of a 'gut'. I did take measurements -- just of my waist, hips and biggest part of my overall stomach (mainly because this is the only area I'm truly concerned about). I also took front and side pictures in my favorite bikini. I plan on redoing my measurements and pictures every 30 days. I am actually trying out a low-cal muscle milk today after my workout to see how I like it. I starting using that loseit.com website and realized that I am really low on my daily protein -- which he really emphasizes with P90X. What do you do!? I am low on my calorie count every day and don't really know the best way to add to it in a positive way. I'm sort of 'nutrition retarded'...so any suggestions would be more than welcomed! What kind of diet are you on?

Whew...ok...feeling a little better about the weight gain...(as long as it goes away!!!!) The beach body site actually has a FAQ about this specific issue. The fitness adviser replies... "The muscle becomes inflamed and slightly swollen with fluid retention. This temporary retention of fluid can result in a 3- to 4-pound weight gain within a few weeks of a new program." http://teambeachbody.com/connect/message-boards/-/message_boards/message/31156624 The team beach body site is so helpful to me for answering basic questions I have about the program!

( Week two started today... I gained 2 lbs!?!?!??!! ugh... THAT doesn't motivate me in the LEAST :oP but on I go!! I'm certainly not eating bad, so I'm not sure what caused that...

Ahhh I wish I had the time in the morning for a breakfast like that!! I would have to get up at 5am :oP. I am starting to think I'm not eating enough!?!?! I am really trying to be sensible about what I eat, but I just plugged everything I had so far today into the "loseit.com" site, and I've only had about 650 calories so far (including breakfast, snack and lunch). I usually have another snack after I get home (about 100 calories) and then dinner. Sometimes I have a small snack after dinner too (about 100 calories). I feel like my average daily calorie count is around 1200-1400 depending on the day? I'm anxious about seeing results, but I know it will take some time.

Nicole, thanks SO much!! That helps a lot. I started looking around the forum first and was seeing some people complaining about their DMV and SS offices not taking the spanish version, but I will ask them for a few copies in English like you did just in case! Did you get your certified copy right away or did they mail it to you? -
yay!! congrats on losing 15 already! I honestly believe the lean program is best for women. It focuses more on the cardio side of working out, and less on the muscle building. It really isn't THAT different that the classic, but from the beginning it takes away things like working out your chest (which I honestly want nothing to do with) and replaces it with core workouts that are best for toning and slimming. Hey girls!! For the ladies who did a civil ceremony, how did the marriage certificate details work out? I just got a "Name Change Kit" from a friend of mine who recently got married, and its making me nervous as far as how I'm going to get all of these certified copies of the marriage certificate. I don't know if I have to get these in Mexico or if I can get certified copies here in the states?? I also heard that a lot of places make you have them translated before they will be accepted. Did any of you have to go through any of this? Does it take long to receive your marriage certificate? (they give you a copy and mail the certified copy right!?!) Ahh!! So confused by all of this!?!? -
I finished week 1 yesterday and start my 2nd week tomorrow!! I can honestly say some days are easier than others (I switched the order this week and did kenpo before legs/back..so right now my legs and butt are KILLING ME). Today was a nice day off, and I'm looking forward to week 2! I want these weeks to go fast so I can start seeing results to keep me going! Do any of you feel hungry like ALL the time during the day? I'm considering trying some sort of low calorie protein bar after my workout? He really stresses these "recovery" drinks, but i'm so not a protein shake kinda girl. Do any of you do anything after a workout? and/or what are you doing for breakfast to keep you full!?!?! I feel like all I want to do is eat from breakfast to lunch!

I planned my wedding for June, as soon as school lets out, and our rates aren't bad. I can tell you that I know of several girls at my district who have taken 5 of their personal days to take a week off for their wedding/honeymoons. I think it really depends on your districts policy with personal days and how many you have. I couldn't imagine they'd allow sick day usage? All districts "frown" upon it, but I've never seen it rejected.
