I measured all of the pages based on the cover size, which obviously would be larger...I adjusted the pages to fit 4 X 6 openings, kept the cover the same. Also, I managed to take the vistaprint 'sand' background and use it in my book, so I added that too. Here's the updated version for those who would like it: welcomebookword.doc

Oh...I forgot to say I've thrown around the idea of printing it on "sand" scrapbook paper (design on paper is tan and looks like sand)...or doing something so that the pages don't look so stark white!?! thoughts!?!

Aww..thanks again!! (x 3) haha... Here is my Welcome Book template too!! I'm not completely finished with the "who's here?" section, and I still have to tweak a few things, so if ANYONE has any advice on what to add/change/etc. it would be greatly appreciated! These pages are sized to fit the 4 x 6 soft cover photo albums I purchased from Walmart for $1. I made the brochures on VistaPrint -- with the majority of the info coming from a combination of other BDW brides. I copied a matching image from vistaprint (shh don't tell!) to make my own luggage tags in word. I'll attached the template at the end just in case anyone wants to steal it! I'm getting married June 25!!!!! I'm an Aventura Palace bride ) I see that you are getting married at Moon! No real packing list going here yet...but I did pack up most of my OOT bag stuff and decorations (with the exception of liquids that need to be checked) -- two carry-on's full! I'm planning on packing really nothing but sun dresses for the whole trip..I figure they take up less space and are much eaiser to throw on and hang out in. I have a few nicer dresses for dinners/nights out and a few 'althetic' type outfits in case we end up going to Xplor and/or Xcaret. Of course, I'll have like 4-5 swimsuits too lol. I plan on going out in the next few weeks to stock up on all sorts of meds and random things to bring just in case (pepto, imodium, etc.).

Oh Amanda ( I'm so sorry you have to deal with that. I do have a bridesmaid that is quite 'outspoken' sometimes, but no where near what you have to deal with (. I do however have a guest coming, who first and foremost invited HERSELF to my "family and bridal party-only wedding", that is causing all sorts of drama with mine and my FI's wedding party. She's a drama-mama to begin with, but I'm so annoyed that I ever let her guilt me into letting her book in the first place. Ooooh well... I guess I would say my advice for you would be to try not to even pay it mind. I know that is way easier said than done, but I have gotten to the point where I just don't bother with what anyone else is saying, thinking or doing. The small things that are going on with my group right now are going to have no impact on how my wedding will go and how happy we are going to be on our wedding day, so I'm just not going to sweat it. Hopefully the drama with her has passed, but if not, I would just try not to even pay it any mind. If she hangs up on you or doesn't want to talk, so be it. If she doesn't have a dress, I guess she can't be in your bridal party. lol I know that seems harsh, but I guess I'm at that harsh point with all of my drama as well and feel like that is the best way to make sure you continue to worry about nothing but your happiness and your day! ---------------------------------------- On a brighter note, I had my shower this weekend!!! My girls and mom did an awesome job and I had a great time ). It officially made our wedding feel even closer!! We have 5 1/2 weeks until we leave for Mexico!! My FI's bach party is in 3 weeks and mine is in 4, so once that excitment is over, we will really be in crunch time! I just need to finish my programs and welcome books. I also believe I'm going to buy one more thing for our moms and am trying to decide what to do for placecards for our dinner. Ooo and my 2nd dress fitting is a week from tomorrow!!! We are almost there girls!! I hope everyone is enjoying their planning and prepping..

I have been saving a lot of pictures that I love and would love to recreate, but didn't know if it would be insulting to send them to him? Also...do you have pictures to share!?!?! Lauren Honestly...I would just let it go and show up with the decorations you want to use. Maybe she is misunderstanding you? I would say, show up at the meeting with decorations in hand, and if she mentions a charge use the defense that every other bride that you know that got married there had it done for free, and you know brides who spoke to Wilma that said it was free of charge. If they give you trouble, I'm sure you can have someone help you out that is with you. I definitely wouldn't pay. About the resort dollars for the video...try to call Yesenia again. Like I said, depending on when you booked your wedding, she may tell you that you CAN. That is what she told me! and I will send you anything you want!! I hope you can wait until Sunday?? I am leaving right after work today to head back to my hometown for the weekend -- my shower is tomorrow!!! -- and I didn't bring my laptop. I also made pages specific to our resort for a welcome booklet if you want that too. I made them sized to fit 4 X 6 soft photo albums that I bought for $1 at Walmart.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat!?!? I'm not asking anything...I'm just going to show up and bring them to my planning meeting. Wilma has been great with everything so far...she even said she'd give me 5 vases for our dinner table for me and my girls to put our bouquets in, since I don't have centerpieces.

I wasn't concerned with lbs either...I know from years of experience that my weight just plain doesn't fluctuate much. I have been between 123-126 for YEARS. This is actually the first time that I have gotten below 123 (I weighed in at 120.2 today)...so that definitely adds to my feeling of success. I started at around 126, so my goal if I could lose weight was to be at 120...but my overall size change is what thrills me more than anything. I have NEVER been a size 4! (or 2..which I'm wearing today!)

Yay!!! Yeah definitely give it a little time and I'm sure he'll come around ) haha yeah...it was really a promo that a vendor on here was doing because he was coming to the states for a week. We obviously didn't get to take advantage of it! haha But thats ok..

Here is information from their approved vendor -- Wedding Package 3 is the Speaker/Ipod Music System/Mixer, $385 for 4 hours. I'm not sure how important having an actual DJ is to you, but its $1000 cheaper!!!

Lauren.. When did you reserve your wedding!?! When I spoke to Yesenia, she told me there was a date cutoff based on when you reserved your wedding for whether or not you can use your resort dollars for photography and videography. If you are concerned or trying to get to the bottom of it, call yesenia! -- 1.877.725.4933 EXT 6547 As far as the outdoor events, I don't think that surcharge per person applies for cocktail parties!?!?! Also something you could ask Yesenia about I'm sure. I can't believe their DJ prices!!!! We are just going to the disco after our dinner because we are having a big AHR when we get home to do all of the traditional stuff. Have you considered just ordering the IPOD dock, speakers and microphone? I think that is somewhere around the $300-500 range.

Awesome!! Good luck!! I'm mid-week in week 11!! I don't know how in shape you already are..i'm assuming pretty good since you are running 5 miles and lifting already!! But I lost a little over an inch in my waist/belly/hips in my first 6-8 weeks! I went from a size 6 down to a 2/4 (depending on the brand) and I still have 2 1/2 weeks left of the program. I think you'll definitely see results in the next two months! Definitely don't base your results on weight-loss, especially if you are already in decent shape. If you are looking to track results, I would take pictures and do measurements! I have only lost 3 1/2lbs, (121.5 down from 125) and that no where near reflects my results! I'm not doing any other workout besides P90X...I don't have TIME!!! haha ... but if you want to, more power to you! I would just make sure to maybe stick with cardio based workouts? The workouts are designed around muscle confusion, so you don't want to get into a regimine that will mess with that.

Ahhh Lauren that is so frustrating ( I found advil packets at my dollar tree (1 box = 6 packets of 2 pills each). I ended up putting two packets a piece in my OOT bags, so 1 box filled 3 of my bags. I don't think that was too bad? I think the Dollar Tree has aloe too!? I just found this Imodium coup!!! http://www.imodium.ca/en/coupon.asp. You can print it right off the website, as many as you want! I completely forgot to purchase imodium for my Oh Sh!t Kits (how could I do that..it has the problem in the NAME!?! lol!!). They are already sealed, but I think I might purchase some anyway. Hope that helps!? I was actually thinking of doing beach balls in the bags too -- I found some at the Dollar Tree (can you tell I'm obsessed with that place!?).

Ooo congrats Michelle!! Everything looks great!! I definitely think I'm stealing your place card idea...I have the same starfish and was wondering what to do for place cards in Mexico! I have to be honest...I have been working here and there on my planning journal for weeks now ) Everytime I do something new, I just add it in! Mine is going to be sooooooo long!! lol
