For the Bachelor party, if your FI and friends golf, there is the Kaanapali Royal - North Course/South Course which are amazing.
For the girls? Maybe a spa treatment? Maybe a spa day at the beach?
Another Tip I can add for reducing costs is the photographer. Some WC's have photographers built in,but I find that some of the pictures of their photography is really plain, not anything special.
A great way to save money on Photography is to find a photographer who has a portfolio but also is looking to build their portfolio. Most photographers packages are pretty pricy!!!! I can't believe it.
I found my photographer through a referral, she has an great portfolio and she wants to build on it... so I know that she is actually going to try really hard to get the most amazing shots. There are such photographers out there. Also, she is really willing to work with brides who are on limited budgets, so she will prepare a package that suits your budget!
I love this forum also...and I agree, a non DW is not as fun to plan...and also...perhaps I am totally wrong, but we don't have as many things to freak out about, because chances are that there is someone on this forum that that encountered the same issue that we can learn from. I <3 it here!
I met my fiance online while looking for Oprah....haha, long story, but it was cute! He is the most amazing man I know, and I am so lucky to have found him.
Me neither. I think the best bet would be to look on the boards to find a wedding planner that would be able to help you suit your needs. Perhaps even contacting TA Dina (on this forum!), I heard that she is really helpful for Oahu....
It is possible to plan a wedding n 6 months... Do what your heart tells you. If you want to have a DW, go for it....Ultimately it comes downt to what you want for your wedding...the rest are just details.
Congrats!!! You can do it!
I am facing the same issue. I have a grandmother that dosen't really like me, but that wants to come to our wedding. I am not sure I really want her there, but it becomes and issue with my own parents. How do I tell them I don't want her there?
It is a tough decision.
Ok, so the suggestion of a coffee bar was amazing. I am actually going to implement it. I am going to ask as one of my gifts a nesspresso machine, and I am going to get about 200 little coffee pods in all different flavours for my recepotion.
Thanks ladies!
TA Dina,
That is so amazing that you are able to plan your own wedding. I am sure I am not the only one, but I can't express how amazing these forums have been to my own planning, so thank you thank you and thank you....and congrats. I am certain that your wedding will be beautiful.
Ah, a coffee bar would be awesome!!! I didn't even think of that....imagine, coffee and khalua, coffee martinis, lattees, coffee cake, I should get starbucks to sponsor my wedding!! hahahahah!! I love it! I love it so much!
