    Im pretty set on having a barefoot ceremony. if the sand is hot i will just have to deal with it. I want some cute colorful heels for the ceremony but I dont want them to be too tall as my fiancee is not that much taller than me... :/

    Hey Ladies! Im a June Bride too! June 5th at Iberostar Tucan/ Quetzal. I think Im a little bit behind on the planning. I bought my dress on Tuesday and finally got invitations in the mail yesterday! I guess its about time to start working on OOT bags!

    I have taken so many cute ideas from this forum I thought I should share. I got these invites from Invitationsbydawn.com. I got them less than a week after ordering them and i absolutely LOVE them. I cant wait to send them out. if anyone is interested I have codes for 15% off and free shipping.     Im all for platonic relationships with members of the opposite sex but there has to be boundaries. He has to accept these boundaries. Maybe you can use this situation to your advantage. tell him that you understand that they have a very close relationship but it makes you uncomfortable. you want him to be happy and have his friend there on the big day, but he needs to return that favor and respect your boundaries. Hope that helps

    I will probably just tie a tag to each bag with names and room numbers on them. not fancy but simple.

    We did both. For a normal registry we did bed bath & beyond because people could easily buy for us in store or online. I booked our wedding and honeymoon through destinationweddings.com so we also did a honeymoon registry through them. It was really simple and since people are already on that website it will be really easy for them. we were not completely thrilled with the limited amount of things to register for and they take 10% but the simplicity kind of makes up for that.

    thanks for the papermart website. I think I might go with the reusable bags with a pocket. they are really colorful and super inexpensive.

    Im getting married there in June!! I dont know why there arent very many postings about the Tucan or Quetzal on here. Im thinking of going with the new photographer they have under contract there. Its called Adventure photos and if you use them you dont have to pay the 300 dollar outside vendor fee. the photos on thier website are pretty good and the package with everything is 1,499.00 How much is the photographer you used if you dont mind me asking?

    if you cant get that many from the resort, there is a walmart in Playa where im sure you can pick some up pretty cheap!

    Hi! I am geting married at the Iberostar Quetzal ( same place as the Tucan) on 6/5/11!! I have booked most of the stuff and am super excited. I am a little sad that there doesn't seem to be many brides for this place on here!

    i think it would be ok. if you aren't willing to change the beach then it will have to be ok! i would probably do one row of chairs in the front just in case anyone doesnt like the idea of standing.

    we are also doing the legal part here before going to Mexico. its just going to be easier and its really about what we want to do, not about everyone else. we arent going to talk about it not being legal, but im not going to lie about it!
