We bought our lab Boone as a pup at 8 weeks, but adopted Brodie when he was 7 months old (they're 5 days apart in age...how crazy is that??). I've already decided that all of our future dogs will be rescues...there are just so many that need homes! I am a HUGE supporter of rescues! I attempted to volunteer at one once..but they were saying in order to do it you had to be willing to foster and/or adopt....and with 3 animals already...I can't bring another one in...house is WAY too small... We have a rescue cat too...got her a long time ago with my ex-husband...I got to keep her...she's a big baby and she drools...only cat I know that does that... And a BIRD..that is FIs. That bird will live FOREVER....if any of you have birds...I'm sorry...but I am NOT a bird person...Animals are cute and cuddly...cats and dogs... The Bird is fine and everyone gets along (kind of)...but it's a BIRD...they live outside! Love your Dogs too...I love everyone's dogs....if we go to a party or someone's house for anything..you will find me sitting on the floor with the dogs instead of mingling

Love him to death and think one may convert me into a dog lover....we'll see! LMAO at his name too!! Very creative...and long. Everyone thinks my FI's name is Theodore because his nickname is Theo. I had an American Bulldog before Baby G...her name was Princess Jasmine Peanut Butter Smooches Rescued her when she was about 1.5 and one night (April 2009) I woke up and she had passed away sometime during the night. She was only 7....I ADORED her..she was awesome and absolutely gorgeous! I definitely wanted another American Bulldog, but when I saw Baby G I fell in love...I'm usually a big (in size) dog lover (grew up with Newfoundlands my whole life) and didn't really know what to do with a small dog...

She's never called for a birthday, never called on special occasions, never even called to congratulate me on my engagement! (however...she found out through my aunt who found out through facebook (FML) and called my father and yelled at him that we hated her so we didn't tell her!) Ugh, so I don't want to bother having her there! How many people are you inviting? Do you have a limit? If there are other family members not invited , you can just say it was the budget. Do you ever see her? If you don't..and you never really have to...I see no reason to include her. I know there's all that "have to" crap...but it's not worth stressing over... You need to be happy..if she takes away the happy...she doesn't need to be there. What does your dad say about all this? Does he want her there?

How many people do you have with you that you would want in the room? I will only have 3 bridesmaids (hopefully...maybe even only 2..1 is iffy) and my mom. I really only want them helping me get ready...and I figure if I wanted a couple other people to join me...I'm the bride...they can't get mad at me

I'll work on a name tonight Do you see your Grandma a lot that it would be uncomfortable if she wasn't invited? Is she old? Are there specific travel restrictions for her? Try to find something and then blame that so you don't look bad Why don't you want her there? Mine comes down to $$$...I think realistically everyone would get along if they had to...but if someone did something awful/rude/mean to me and would cause me un-necessary stress or any icky feelings on what is supposed to be an amazing time....

Thanks love for this tidbit that would have been helpful when i showed you the color board 2 months ago! I luckily haven't done much but did have everything envisioned a specific way and got samples of invites and stuff like that. I'm not bad at doing makeup,,,but I feel like a celebrity when I get it done...and I don't think what I currently use is beach/outdoor/wedding good... The LOMAS package seemed like a LOT of money....they do it at the spa in a much cheaper pacckage that included your hair and mani and pedi for only $228...(and they even do a makeup trial with that free) I'll probably wind up doing that...maybe bring a couple makeup staples so I can touch up... Just wished the spa had pics to show.... I hear you with the color thing...FI wants light pink...WTF just light pink...what the hell am I supposed to do with that? Good Luck with that!

Trial at home is a much better idea.

I think there was a bride on here that used the hotel photog but I can't remember who it was. There are only 2 that the resort works with that you don't have to pay the fee for... Matias Cano: professional wedding photojournalist photographer in riviera maya Caribe Photo: Professional weddings and events photographers company Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Cancun, Riviera Maya Mexico Caribe is MUCH more reasonably priced...but in looking through all their pics (I found most on facebook)..they seemed just like normal pics that my friends and I would take... I really don't want to spend so much extra, but I don't want crappy (and they weren't crappy..just average) pics either... I wish they had more of a selection.
