  1. The Cake Eaters:: Kristen Stewart (had to IMDB that one
  2. wedding planning:: absolutely love it
  3. She's just really nice and helpful....whenever I have a question she will always call/email (I'm a much bigger fan of email) within 24 hours (but generally within 8 hours or so) with a detailed explanation. Even when she went out of town, she let me know response time might be a little longer./..but still replied.  She has already managed to save us over $2000 with the room upgrades/and the free wedding package (we are not staying in a premium suite, but because we are staying 14 days...they let it pass) Then....there was a whole thing with switching to El Dorado for 7 nights....(Jaime...sorry..I wound up using my TA as she made this happen..but thank you so much for your help with the Friends of Paradise info) at the same price I was given by the Friends of Paradise program...she managed to get them to approve the upgrade at both resorts and still saved me a couple hundred dollars on that.  If I hear of anything "extra" that someone is getting...she will try to get that for me...not always successful....but it's always worth a shot...  And with so much time before my wedding..I am confident that there will still be sales and promos that I will definitely qualify for.  Her name is Beverly Tanner if you do decide to switch or anything......  Hope everything works out for you  Â
  4. That sucks that you're given wrong information...I am using destinationweddings.com and I LOVE our TA....Do you have the email or anything written where she told you the original price (the $760)...send that back to her and show her. If it's big enough concern for you, ask to speak to a supervisor/manager...that's a big difference in price. Â
  5. I will look in to one....but my biggest problem is paying for it... I found a couple of gyms that actually offer boot camp training classes that seem a lot more affordable...might look into the guest pass there and check that out.
  6. Wondering if anyone can give me any excersise motivation....right now my friend and I belong to a gym...no classes...just treadmills, weights, boring ass crap like that...WE HATE IT and rarely go because it sucks and is boring and did I mention it SUCKS?  We used to do a jazzercize class that we actually liked but I moved too far from there and there is a class closer..but..we still have 4 months on our stupid gym membership and I can't afford that PLUS the jazzersize.  I hate working out....but I will at least get through it if its a class and there is a beginning middle and end...I think Boot Camp might actually kill me though  What are some fun things that you have done???  Please Help
  7. Because everyone has their own ideas and opinions of what you should be doing No...that dress doesn't look right....... No....I don't really like that color.... No...you can't wear those shoes And on and on and on..... Â Sometimes people are jealous...sometimes they thing they're helping...but what it comes down to is your wedding...your decisions So...ignore the icky people and focus on the fun that you will have and the amazing day ahead.... Â

  12. Yup....it was for booking the wedding within 10 days of the webinar...... Join them on facebook (I think I am a fan of Azul/El Dorado and Karisma Hotels) and they usually post when there are specials or webinars (I think there was one yesterday) I wonder if someone did more than omne...can they get more incentives? I should look into that.....
  13. This is amazing Sent my questionnaire in with all the wedding info I could....can't wait to get more info from you!!!
  14. My TA says I wasn't able to qualify for the promotions...oh well...can't complain too much...I got the free room upgrade...and I'm still constantly looking for more
  15. celebration:: Kool In The Gang...a song that is NOT allowed to be played at my wedding....along with the Chicken Dance or YMCA
  16. more fun in the sun:: camping and canoeing
  17. Thanks for posting this Just emailed my TA...not sure she is a GI WC...but it's worth a shot. I know they offered something similar to this for 2010 brides....but only if you were getting married in 2010...not for booking then.... So...hopefully....she can get this for me Â
  18. Started my Apple Cider Vinegar today....wasn't delicious...but wasn't too bad. How soon did you feel/see results? Â Do you use it everyday? I'm the tiniest bit nervous to use everyday cause so much acid...maybe every other day...but then will I get all the benefits?
  19. was beautiful::the day FI proposed

I'd say you'd be hard-pressed to pull off a wedding at any Karisma resort for under 10K, with the average being 15-20K?  Just throwing in my opinion on the budget question...I think the majority of the people here are planning big weddings.. I honestly don't think FI and I are going to go past $10K...with a majority being spent on us and our room. We are not planning on a private event...we are not bringing a photographer with us...we are keeping our guest list super short to immediate family and close close friends only.... We are looking into a group event (really want to do the catamaran cruise) and trying to find the best deal on those...but since I have so much time..I don't have a clue how many people will be there yet.  So...if you plan on having a full on wedding with a lot of people...then yes...your budget will be a LOT higher...but if you go for bare minimum and basics...you can get away with under $10K
