Hi! I am getting married on 5-28-11 and trying to decide between glass wrap koozies that will fit on the plastic cups at the pool or stadium cups to put in our OOT bags. At first I was going to get the koozies but it seems like a lot of people on BDW are getting the stadium cups. What do you think guests would like and use more? Please help! I am getting down to the wire and need to make a decision soon! Thank you so much!!! Melissa

I am getting married at Azul Beach Hotel on 5-28-11 at 4 p.m. and wanted to book Fernando but the latest he is available is at 12 p.m. Do you think this is too early to get my makeup done? I wanted to get makeup done as late as possible so its fresh but I have heard so many good things about Fernando. Also, his partner Julius from The Makeup Pros is available but i have not heard any reviews on Julius. Have any of you heard of him or has anyone used him? I am also looking into Norma from MAC but can't decide who is going to do the best makeup? Has anyone used Norma? If yes, what did you think of her? I have to make a decision soon....Fernando at 12 p.m., Julius or Norma? Please help and send photos if you have! THANKS!!!

Hi! Thanks Kitty25967! We will be ordering these flowers with the vases from our resort. I don't think the vase will be the same but it will be similar (I hope). We will be using real flowers for this. EVERYONE: Do you think it will be hard to see people across the table with these vases? Do you know where in Cancun there is a good place to buy vases? We want to bring the flowers back to our room after the reception and need to buy vases because our resort does not allow us to take the vases. Hi! I am getting married at Azul Beach Hotel on 5-28-11! Congrats on making a great decision and choosing AS. I loved that hotel but ended up picking the smaller resort. I am making a welcome bags similar to the one shown below. We are including a welcome letter, itinerary of events, pool float, custom koozie (good idea!), aloe vera, advil, pepto bismol, some fruit and nuts snacks, nail file, loofah and small travel brush with mirror (for the girls), Ax body spray (for the boys), deck of cards, maybe custom chap stick, gum, hand sanitizer, maybe small Kleenex packs and there are a few more things but I can't think of them now. What kind of custom bags are you getting? Have you already done your welcome brochure? I was thinking of doing a welcome brochure because they are free right now on Vista Print but don't have the time to figure out what all to put on it. Do you know what you are writing in your welcome brochure? Where are you ordering your custom koozies from? I am trying to figure out which ones to order because I want them to fit the plastic cups that they give out at the pool. I got the dimensions of the cups from our WC but I am not sure which ones will work best. We are going to do the paddle fans for our programs (still need to order) and we are giving our guests rose petals to toss too! Are you ordering the rose petals from the resort? We are also thinking of ordering maracas for our guests. We are doing the sand ceremony and I got a super cute sand ceremony kit online that's engraved. I am working on our ceremony script right now and hope to have it complete by the end of next week. What are you colors? Have you decided on flowers?

Hi! They are in the middle of a huge renovation...lots has been completed and from the photos it looks amazing! We were all set on doing a legal ceremony but now we are really considering the symbolic ceremony. Are you working with a travel agency to book your rooms? We have 48 people booked right now and may up with a few more. We have until March 20th to give back the remainder of of the rooms that we reserved but have not used. My Mom and I also saw Cieba Del Mar and Now Jade. I wanted to see Dreams Riviera Maya and Now Sapphire but didn't have the time. We looked at over 10 resorts in just a couple of days. What did you think of Cieba Del Mar and Now Jade? What are you looking for in a resort? We decided not to use the hotel photographer and DJ. There reviews on their DJ were not that good but they do have a photographer Claudia Rodriquez who is really good. We almost booked her but decided to go with Samuel Luna at the last minute. The DJ we are using is DJ Doremixx. I am worried about using the resort for hair and make-up too! We are thinking of bringing someone in but the Karisma outside vendor fee is outrageous!! The outside vendor fee was $500 per vendor and now its $800 per vendor which is a bit over the top if you ask me. So unless you use all the hotels vendors its going to cost you a lot if you want to bring anyone in as a outside vendor. Also, I am not sure if you know this or not but Azul Beach Hotel changed their 1 wedding per day to 2 weddings per day. Luckily, I booked right before they made this change. Having 1 wedding per day is why I booked Azul but 2 weddings is still not too bad...Some resorts have 6 weddings a day. I am working with Maria in Miami...She is awesome and always gets back to me within a day or two.
