Hello Azul Beach Hotel Brides!! I am back and had an AMAZING wedding! Azul Beach Hotel is a FABULOUS resort and I know you and your guests will LOVE it! I am not on this site much but let me know what questions you have and I will write you back as soon as I can. We looked at over 10 resorts when we did site visits and Azul Beach is by far the best resort out there that I saw! Everyone raved about how wonderful the resort and wedding was. It is small and intimate which is GREAT! Here are just a couple of photos that my friends took...Still have tons more to get from our guests and we should have our professional photos on July 4th and our video shortly after.

We did Maracas as place cards and they were a huge sucess! Everyone loved them and they were totally worth it! I made tags with the guest name, table number and it also said "Shake for a Kiss" on them. I'm back and we had an AMAZING wedding! Azul Beach Hotel is a Fabulous resort! Here are a couple of my favorite pics so far that my friends took. I haven't even uploaded my photos yet. We ended up getting so many great pics from our guests which is great since it takes awhile to get the professional ones. We had Paul from Playa Weddings do our video and his work is AMAZING!! I have not received the video yet but I know his work it GREAT! I can't wait to get the video. Such a bummer because we had them booked and then had to find another photographer last minute. We ended up going with Samuel Luna but Claudia does great work as well!

Hi! We did a welcome beach BBQ and it included a BBQ buffet and open bar for 4 hours. We did a slide show before dinner and had music but nobody danced. It was fun but not sure if it was worth the money. We got married at Azul Beach and the resort is very small and its very easy to have the restaurants set up tables for large parties which worked out well for us. They provided lighting but the lighting was terrible...Very hard to see anyone or your food after the sun went down. We asked for more lighting but they didn't provide any additional lighting... Let me know if you have any other questions.

Melissa.....Yay! You finally made it to Junior status and can open attachments now that you don't need to do it anymore! Too bad...at least maybe you can give back to other brides and help them like you were helped by Best Destination Wedding, especially Azul threads....the brides are sooo helpful! Thanks to all you wonderful brides that have helped us throughout the past year! We couldn't have done it without you all!

Hi! Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I am getting married there on 5-28-11 and we leave for Mexico on Tuesday! We are having our reception at the Blue Terrace but was thinking of the Blue International Restaurant because its air conditioned. My Mom and I went on a site visit last July and I have tons of photos and I can take more when I am there next week. Will they give you the entire Blue International Rest. for your reception? Its kind of a choppy setup but I prefer it to the beach but that's just my opinion and I really did not want to have the ceremony on the beach. Beautiful!!! Wow...Love your setup! We leave on Tuesday for our wedding at Azul Beach Hotel. It still doesn't feel real that I will be getting married next Saturday. CONGRATS!!!!!!
