  1. Everything looks beautiful! Congrats and thanks for posting. Felicia
  2. Great short and suite way to put it!...lol I was all complicated with my explanation.
  3. It's all a "ranking" type thing... The beach it the lowest rank. So if you stay at the suites or grand you can go to the beach at no extra charge. However if you stay at the beach you have to pay to get into any of the other 2 resorts. Just like if you stay at the grand which is the "highest ranked one" then you can get into all of them at no additional charge and if you stay at the suites you can get into the beach at no charge but would have to pay to get into the Grand...Does that make sense? This is how it was explained to me by my TA. Felicia
  4. You can also let the in-laws know that the reason they have to pay for the day pass is because during the time they are at the resort for the wedding they have full access to the amenities. Hope that helps.
  5. I am a future bride but I know depending on how you book your stay, your round trip transfers are included in the price. There should be a desk for your resort at the airport that will manage your transportation. There will be no other fees if your quest stay where your wedding will be. No fees for your guest at least. This is something you may want to discuss with your TA to make sure you and your guest do not have any surprises when you get there. Felicia
  6. Those reviews can be made up...I wouldn't put it past anyone...Shortly after I was on the sight someone kept emailing me questions and after I replyed and told them I didn't order anything my email address was spoofed...I don't know if it was just a random personthat could hack in and see people on the site or if it was someone from that so called company.
  7. Have you ordered from there or do you know anyone who has ordered from there. I have been on that site before and got some harassing emails afterwards. I don't think i trust it.
  8. I have always seen the vendor fee is $100 and the day pass is $75. You may have them backwards.
  9. I was told the same thing. As a matter of fact the same information was in the initial paperwork I was sent.
  10. That would be nice to know. I am sure my hunny will get his cut right before we leave but our wedding is 4 days later and he will have a major 5'oclock shadow! lol
  11. She told me to mail a money order to her daughter here in the states...I think she is in New York. That was about a month ago and I have not done it yet. She may have changed the way she collects the deposit. I have only heard great things about Marcia and her service so I would not be worried. I also had to western union my deposit to my makeup artist. In my planning I have found that Jamaicans are laid back and slow motion and arent always as high tech as us. I am not saying trust them all but I do trust these two
  12. [email protected] is the email address for the Spa Director of the beach. If you are at one of the other resorts I am sure she can forward it to the director of that spa or have them contact you.
  13. Being a future bride I am not really sure...One thing I would do if I were you is contact the Spa and make your reservations for any services you will be needing. You should also advise your guests to do the same. I was advised by the Spa that they prefer we book our services in advance because of how busy they are. Other than that I would probably email the WC and ask what info they need. I can tell you the WC advised me they don't start finalizing plans until about a month out. Hope this helps Meesha
  14. The WC sent that info with the Last Wedding Details information. I plan on emailing them directly about a month before our wedding to make sure it has not changed since I originally reserved our date about a year out.
  15. So far I am only expecting about 24 guests. For about 50 guests I am sure it will end up being mostly private. I was just trying to get out of spending close to an extra $800 on a private dinner when the bonfire will be private and it is way less expensive.
  16. I would contact tai flora directly... Jodi-Ann ([email protected]) will set up a time to call you and discuss your decor ideas then she will email you an invoice...She will be sure to deduct the items that are included in the wedding package. Hope this helps Meesha
  17. Yes, that is exactly what I plan on doing. The WC advised me they don't start finalizing things until about a month before the wedding so as long as he marks you down you should be fine by then. I was going to book him during the processional but I don't want to have to pay for time he is not playing (during the ceremony) so i guess our processional music will be coming from a CD. Or maybe I will have my cousin sing...lol
  18. I am thinking about having the DJ and bonfire for 2 hours. Hopefully I can get 2 hours out of booking the bonfire for one I have seen a few brides say theirs lasted an additional hour on top of the one they booked. But either way we will book the DJ for 2 hours.....We will be having the steel pan band during the cocktail hour.
  19. Its not on that last wedding details form they send the brides. I inquired about the reception being on the beach and she sent me the info.
  20. I am sure they will but we had not discussed alternatives... We have recently decided to do what a recent bride did and go ahead with the hour and a half wedding dinner that is included in the package and then taking the guests outside to the bonfire. I have heard from a few brides that they paid for the bonfire for an hour but they ended up getting 2 out of it. At the bonfire is where we will do the first dance, gater toss etc. And we will also have a DJ at the bonfire. So this will save us the almost $800 we were going to spend considering we were going to do the bonfire anyway. If you are still considering doing the BBQ on the beach you may want to email them to see what the alternatives are when it comes to the weather. Happy Planning. Meesha
  21. Oh wow ...I am so sorry you are already having issues...Have you been keeping the information she was giving you thru email? If so I would try to email management or the public relations manager there to get things sorted out. Her email address is [email protected] I believe she handles it for all 3 resorts. Lateley I have been getting my email responses within a few hours of sending it to them. Hopefully you can get it straightened out before u leave or as soon as you get there. Best of luck. Felicia.... P.S. I am also going to PM this info to make sure you get it.
  22. I have one PM me you email address and be sure to ask for the map so I know what I am supposed to send you. The map I was emailed even has the wedding location marked on it.
