It was a tad on the pricey side but worth every penny. The bouquet was $350 and the bout was $25. My dad looked at the pic and said "Boy Brett (my fi) got jipped!" lol My dad is a little extra. I was thinking about getting the bridesmaids bouquet made to match but it would be $125 each. The were going to double as centerpieces though. I am going to see if the lady who is doing the real touch bouquet can make some to match though.

Hey Ladies, I wanted to come by and share with you a gift from my brother! My Bouquet and my FI's bout! I was so excited when I got the email of the final product! It turned out way more awesome then I could ever imagine. The Bouquet and Bout are both made out of Clay...That's right ladies...I said Clay. Preserving my bouquet is one of the things at the top of my wedding planning to do list. I just can't imagine paying a lot of money for a bouquet and not being able to keep it past a couple of days so this is a great alternative. Here are a few pics of my bouquet and the link to the DK Designs. The owner, Diane made everything by hand http://www.dkdesignshawaii.com/

Hey Ladies, I have just booked Sun Gold Photography! I have been looking at different photographers for about 6 months now and always overlooked Sun Gold because of the price list that I found posted on BDW. Since I kept coming across their awesome work on facebook, I decided to go ahead and inquire with Paula (one half of the husband wife team). Paula responded immediately and advised that they are happy to discuss customizing a package that will fit within my budget. So we did just that! She also advised me that there is a price list floating around BDW that has incorrect prices that are higher than what they charge. So if you are hesitant about contacting them because of their price, give them a call and see if they can work within your budget and customize a package for you. Here is the link to their website: http://www.sungoldphoto.com/ Happy Planning! Felicia

Thanks... we have changed the colors and the date. But the jumping broom hales back from centuries ago! Slaves weren't allowed to legally be married so they would have a ceremony and jump over a broom as a symbol of their life long commitment to each other. A lot of African Americans carry on this tradition today as a part of their ceremony and some are lucky enough to have the exact same broom their slave ancestors used when they got married hundreds of years ago!

Another Jamaica bride made it for me. She was only charging $4.50. She actually got married yesterday her name on here is FutureMrstgun. Send her a message if your interested -
I believe the beach dinner price varies per resort. At the beach I was quoted $32 pp but I think it''s $50 at the suites. Either way, if you have at least 30 people you may come out cheaper just renting out Aunt Ruby's or Uncle Tony's (depending on where your wedding is). They are open air restaurants and open right out to the beach so you will get the same affect.

Oh okay I have seen those just didn't know what the business cards are for. I was browsing etsy.com and came across the paddles they are a little different because they have a chalkboard back but they are only $46. Did she charge you $75 for the hand painting on both sides or something? http://www.etsy.com/listing/72453266/save-the-date-sign-set-chalkboard-paddle?ref=sr_gallery_5&ga_search_submit=&ga_search_query=save+the+date+signs&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_page=2&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_facet=handmade Quote: Originally Posted by jkhowell @ Meeshamillz- Alot of brides out them in those clear name tag/badge holder things so they can make them into lanyards (the strings that go around your neck) or into wristlet with a coil ring. I am no artist (OBVIOUSLY) but I wanted to send Tai Flora a sketch of the basic table set up. Especially since I plan on reusing some of my floral arrangements. For example, the huppa arrangements will go on the tall centerpieces and the brides maids bouquets will go on the lower centerpieces. I am a very visual person so it was just a matter of time before I attempted to sketch out something weather I was going to send it to the florist or not... lol. We are over a year away from my big day so let's just see how close to the sketch it really is when it is all said and done. Here is the reception area: We would like to put up white drapery to cover the blue walls and serve as the back drop. Here is the sketch.....DON'T LAUGH!
