    If it were me, I would go for a fall or spring wedding in the Caribbean. I've been in the middle of the summer and it can be soooo hot!! It would be hard to be all dressed up in that heat. The Caribbean is still real nice in the fall or spring and the weather much more bearable. This is just my opinion though. LOL! Happy planning and Congrats!

    I'm with you Lucy. I got some grief from some of my family also. But this is my second wedding and I just didn't see the need for a big afair. And I also planned this a year in advance so people could save money up. I also picked a cruise because it is usually cheaper that flying somewhere.

    We're just going to have a cook-out at our house with both sides family and close friends. Simple and casual.

    I feel your pain! LOL!! I'm getting married in April and only a 2 have booked. It's not going to be a huge group, but I keep getting "We're going to", "We are looking foward to it", or "We can't wait" from the other people. BUT these same people haven't booked yet. We're taking a cruise and getting off the boat and getting married on the beach in Antigua. I want to plan some sort of island tour after the ceremony with the whole group and it's hard to plan and get a price from people when you can't tell them how many are going. I'm a real planner also, I like everything figured out in advance and ready to go. I started planning my cruise this past May and booked mine in June so I could start paying on it. Good Luck!!
