This is so cute MsWhatever! I am actually getting married the same day but in Ocho Rios. We leave on Tuesday. I have so much to do but I can't wait for the big day to just come already. Congrats and I hope you aren't stressing like I am these days LOL!

JesseLyn10, We are having our wedding at Hibiscus Lodge Hotel (it's a non-AI) and we will be at Couples San Souci for our honeymoon. Where are you having your honeymoon? I can't wait. We have 20 guests confirmed so far. Where are you on all your planning? I'm having a hard time finding non-AI stuff for Ocho Rios. Looking for restaurants and places to go in Ocho Rios.

We looked at the Ruins for our wedding, but the food was soo gross and the place seemed a little run down. From the pictures, all you can see is beautiful waterfall, but when you go there in person you see all the other stuff which does not look good. I've been to Hibiscus Lodge several times for vacation so it was my first pick for my wedding, but I just wanted to try to be a little objective and look at some other places. Needless to say, I think we chose the right spot for our wedding. In less than 3 weeks we'll surely find out.

Hi All, I'm looking for a welcome letter template that has information on non AI stuff. Particularly, things and places to go in and around Ocho Rios. I'm getting married next month at Hibiscus Lodge Hotel, a non-AI hotel, and I want to include information about restaurants, getting around the city and stores they can visit in Ocho Rios. Many of the welcome letters are very nice but they only mention restaurants and places within the resort. If anyone has anything like this, I would appreciate the help. Thanks!

Hey SandyT, I too am doing a non-resort wedding. I am having my wedding at Hibiscus Lodge Hotel in Ocho Rios. I am using Wedding Planner Plus to do all my stuff. Michelle, the wedding coordinator/owner, has package deals with the hotel and it includes everything but she also can customize the package which is what she did for us. Some things I prefer to do on my own like my wedding programs. I'm really in search of a good welcome letter for my guests. So many of the posts on here only have welcome letters referring to all-inclusive resorts. I'm really looking for something that mentions places to go to within town and local restaurants. I could just put it together myself I guess, but being that the wedding is only 3 weeks away, I'm kind of lazy. Well, good luck with everything and hope all goes well.

Hey Karla, I totally feel you. My fiance is from JA so having our wedding at an AI was impossible and way too expensive. We are having our wedding at Hibiscus Lodge Hotel in Ocho Rios, JA. We are using a wedding coordinator preferred by the hotel. It was after looking long and hard, but in the end this was the best choice for us. Hi All, My name is Cris and my fiance and I are getting married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica at Hibiscus Lodge Hotel on 17 July 2010. I can't believe it's only 5 weeks away. So far I have about 22 guests reserved, and I am preparing my gift bags right now. My only problem is trying to find a template for my welcome letters and agenda.
