Thank you. My FI actually picked it out but he doesnt know it. One day I was flipping through a bridal magazine and he pointed to this dress and said "that would be gorgeous on you" (that was strange because he is a guys guy and could care less about fashion or wedding details lol). When I was dress shopping I was all set on another dress but tried this on just for kicks. I was shocked because I fell in love with it and bought it on the spot. The designer is Allure and the style number is 8750

Here is my dress. I am so unsure about it. When I originally purchased it we were getting married in the spring in a garden behind a cute historic southern mini-mansion here in Georgia. Now I just dont think it will work with the vibe we will have in Cancun.

That is great news on becoming an approved vendor!!! Matt, I was born in raised in Cleveland but I have lived in Atlanta for the last 5 1/2 years. I currently live in Ellenwood. My FI is born and raised here in Atlanta. He originally wanted to bring someone from the states with us to Mexico. After I spoke with Melissa I told him that you were originally from here and that really helped me get the green light to book with you guys lol. (he is very Atlanta loyal).

I booked my wedding with La Luna. I am getting married on May 20, 2011 at the Moon Palace. Photography was my biggest stress and I am so happy with my pick!!!!!!

Hey ladies just to let you know: my TA recently did a site visit to the Moon Palace. I had her check on the location of the closest Wal-Mart. Its only about 20 minutes away. So we have decided to not pack things like candles that we can pick up there. On our second day we are going to take a Wal-Mart run to pick up any extra things that we need. I just really hate traveling with a lot of baggage, so I like that this is an option. Also if there is something that you see on their website, you can do the ship to store option. There is also a Sams Club in Cancun and one in Playa del Carmen. Hope that helps!

I wouldn't stress at all. They are professionals. And everyone has their own little ways of doing things. The good thing is that when they do room blocks they generally put everyone in the same area. We are all going to have a great time. No worrys!!!

When my TA did my room block she asked me to specifically list where I wanted to block my rooms. I just told her that my guest wanted to be where the action is and that we would prefer the Grand section. When she sent me the contract for my room block It showed that the quest were reserved for the Sunrise section. I was even able to request the specific room that I wanted on the Grand Side (I saw a review on Trip Advisor and it is one of the few rooms on that side that actually has a view of the ocean).

I booked with a travel agent but she would cc me on all communication with my Miami coordinator. I have always had the info on my contact in Miami. I email her for pictures of different areas and to reserve my ceremony and reception locations. I never really contact my TA for anything wedding related. My TA did do a site visit recently so she will sending me more picutres of the resort, but all questions I send directly to my MC (miami coordinator)

Jenn, How long will you be there? We are getting married on May 20th but we will be arriving on the 17th. We booked our guest on the Sunrise side but we are staying on the Grand side (they want to party but we want quiet time when needed)

Book Reality TV or Scripted Series?

Nadenne I would double check that information. People get married out of the U.S. all the time (including in Texas) and their marriages are recognized. As long as you have a certified English copy of the marriage certificate, you should be able to take care of all of your documents. I know for a fact that you will be able to use it to change your name on your U.S. passport.

Okay ladies I am joining in. I am getting married May 20, 2011. I am 5'2" and I need to lose about 20lbs. The problem is that I LOVE red velvet cake! I will begin my work out program on Monday. Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. I did it last year and lost close to 18lbs, then the red velvet cake brought it all bacl lol. Â I am not so concerned with the dress (they will make that to fit me), but I really need to get into a swimsuit and not look completely crazy.
