    I did three different days of shopping and tried on over 20 dresses. I was really frustrating because nothing was jumping out at me and I couldn't find anything that felt great. My mom ended up buying me a dress off craigslist and mailing it to me and it fit perfectly. I love it and am so happy my mom was able to help me find a dress. Plus it was only $200 for the dress and veil! Â This is it on the model. I need to get it hemmed, but other then that, it is perfect. Â Â

    That is great the owner stuck to her original price. It would have been very easy for her to say, "no, sorry, $700 more." Good for her for doing he right thing by the customer.

    Thanks for writing the story! I'm so glad you were able to find "your dress" I cant' believe people were charging finder's fees! That is shameful.

    I agree. Moving back the date seems like the best plan for your family. Â You could also get married at home on your AHR date and then do a symbolic ceremony on a beach, with all the trimmings, for your 1 year anniversary. I know it wouldn't be the same as your wedding day, but it could be a nice way to reflect on the year, refocus on your marriage and think about why you married your husband in the first place. And you'd still get to wear a dress on a beach.
