  1. GREAT review, you have a way with words that makes it easy to visualize every step. (me, not so much). Â I'm excited to see your pictures.
  2. Thank you for sharing your pictures and for de-lurking  I love the photos, there are so many good photographers in PV.  I like wedding gown design that your wife wore. Can you share what designer she bought that gown from?  Thanks~ Lea
  3. Thank you for the feedback on the in-house photographer for Las Caletas. I was thinking of not going with the one included in the package. I was considering bringing my own photographer. Something to think about.
  4. I'm so happy I found this thread. Thank you for the "search" feature. Â I'm still deciding on my date to get married at PV. My original Aug-Sep 2011 months are PV's rainy season. Will have to do it sooner than expected May-June 2011 or late October 2011. Â I love that the previous brides are Las Caletas are so responsive and very helpful. Thank you ladies
  5. Great review. I am considering Las Caletas and love to look all the reviews for LC.
  6. Thank you for this review on www.destinationweddings.com. I was almost to the deposit part and I'm glad I did a search first on here to see if there were any reviews for that website.
  7. Beautiful wedding. I'm just in the beginning stages of planning. I'm seriously considering PV now. I'm still undecided between PV or Hawaii. Your pictures might just push me toward PV now
  8. Hi guys, Â I'm not familiar with PV area, I've only researched Playa Fiesta hotel. Â I just want to know which hotels in PV allows their guest or has beach access from the hotel? I would imagine my guests would want to go swimming at the beach even if there are plenty of pools. Â Thanks
  9. Beautiful pictures...very intimate and romantic. Just how I picture my wedding will be. thanks for sharing
  10. Hi Tovaqt, I'm also a newbie, checking out the forums for ideas. I just checked out your coordinator's website and saw the private Maui estates option...that sounds like a really good idea. Very private and intimate. May I ask which location you chosed? I can't wait for your pictures to be posted. Thank you for all the helpful information.
  11. Beautiful pictures. Puerto Vallarta is one of the locations I'm considering for my DW. Thank for the review....it is very helpful. Congratulations!!!
  12. Hi there...I'm also considering Oahu for my DW. I have narrowed down to a couple of locations, Oahu being one of them. I also want to get married at a church too, but I was thinking it might be a challenge since I'm from out of town and the church will not be my usual parish. I will look into churches...preferable on the Ko Olina side since we are leaning towards having the reception around there too. Happy planning...I will keep track of your posts for helpful information
  13. I am planning on getting married late summer/early fall 2011. I am also looking into Mexico for our DW. I would suggest reading the forum specific for your destination/hotels and get ideas from brides getting married this year and get updates on how their wedding planning is going...maybe that will help your decision? I am also in the beginning stages of my planning so I'm a bit all over the place right now.

Who is your WC - I haven't booked her yet but I want to use Janelle from Island Bliss Weddings We are cruising on the Carnival Liberty leaving Miami October 29 2011 and getting married on the beach in St Thomas! We are sooo excited! We have 45 guests booked so far and it's still a year and a half away! Hi Stephanie, I am considering getting married in St. Thomas thru a cruise. My timeline is around yours but maybe earlier, August-October 2011. I haven't decided yet, just gathering info right now, mostly cost. I will keep an eye out for your postings since our timeline is similar. Happy planning!
  15. Hi Ladies, I am planning my destination wedding around August-October 2011. I signed up for this website to browse and get some ideas....wow, I'm so glad I did. Even though I am just in the beginning of the planning stages, I'm just brainstorming and because of the pictures and forums that I've seen from this site...I have narrowed down 3 places that I want to get married at....Cruise wedding with wedding ceremony at St. Thomas, Cancun wedding (still not familiar with all the hotel names but I like what I'm seeing so far) and Oahu, Hawaii. I'm excited for everything and I want to thank you all in advance for your informative posts and your help.
  16. Hi All, I got engaged this month and already looking forward to planning my wedding. We narrowed down the dates between Aug - Oct 2011. I would love to go somewhere tropical. I've been to Hawaii many times and considering getting married at Turtle Bay Resort. I've also seen weddings taking place at Port of Call during a Carribean cruise...I've never been to St. Thomas but just basing on pictures I've seen, it looks breathtaking. I've been to Bahamas on a Disney Cruise and did not really see any place during our trip that I can see myself getting married at, maybe I just wasn't looking. I'm looking forward to getting ideas from the forum. For now, I'm leaning towards a Hawaii wedding. I'm so excited
