Hi all, I am frustrated b/c I had asked for the zavas plaza months ago for my reception and now they are saying they had a new wc at the resort and she messed up and gave it to someone else already the same night. They are not acting like they are willing to change and I think they have put me somewhere else and I can't even think of where or what it is called. All I know is that it is by one of the bridges by the pool. I have asked for my wc to get pics from them so I can see and they still have not sent any. All they say is how beautiful it looks when set up but I am not convinced. I just wanted to vent a little about my situation. Any suggestions?

I'm having trouble deciding on music, any suggestions? Does anyone have the list of specific flowers the resort offers?

What is everyone doing for their ceremony music? I'm a little nervous about using a CD player, is that what they provide? Has anyone hired anyone from the resort to play? I was just starting to think about what I'm gonna do.

So for those of you that have bought linen suits, pants, and shirts, where did you get them from? I want my FI to wear a linen suit and GM to wear linen shirts and pants. Also has anyone used the photographers from the resort. My aunt has a professional camera and will be taking pics but wanted a backup also. Any suggestions? We are in the process of blocking 20 rooms, how much do you normally save doing that?

How did you pack the lanterns to bring them on the flight, how much room did they take up?

So I am being told by my WC that the zavaz plaza is for small wedding parties only for receptions (10-15 people). She is now saying my options are the beach or a spot between building 3 and 4 b/c we have about 50 people.

Has anyone used Dmitry Yukunin as a photographer? Is he part of the resort? If so how was he? Also I am having an issue, my mom is a florist and would like to buy flowers down there to do them herself (at least the bridesmaids and bridal bouquet). I'm not sure how to work this out. I don't know if Sensatori's florist would let her buy them from them loose or if she would have to get them with who they go through. Help!!

I have a question: Does sensatori use lomas travel for your wedding arrangements or are they optional use? I'm confused as to whether the resorts offers are with lomas travel or seperate.

What is the website for lomas? I had it but not sure what it is.

I have a stupid question, how do you pm like everyone is saying? Also, is there somewhere on this website that has pictures of past brides weddings. I wanted to look at different pictures of gazebos to figure out what I want.

Hi chong, Since you are a past bride I just wanted to ask you what extra decor should be brought to the resort. I am just now starting to think of decorations and things extra I should buy. Any suggestions, I'm not the best planner and it seems everyone on here is.

Does anyone know what site is good to go to to find out about excursions?

What is everyone doing for their reception decorations? I am trying to decide between a beach reception versus zavas. Does the resort provide the fabrics that I have seen on some of the gazebos? I am really excited that someone got a free room with every 15 people that is awesome and I am going to ask my planner about that!

Do you know if you have to pay for the bar for a private reception? If you do I think that is crazy given that it is an all inclusive hotel.

Does anyone see anything different between the pearl and free wedding packages except the bridal and grooms flowers?
