  1. Thank you for your reply! I'm so happy to hear you had a beautiful (and rain-free!) wedding on Renaissance Island. Juney just forwarded me info for his main vendors - Charlie the steel pan player, his main florist and DJ Tito. Did you use his vendors? Any tips? Thanks and congrats!
  2. My fiancé and I are getting married on Renaissance Island in Aruba on August 4, 2012. We've been to Aruba a number of times and the weather has been absolutely amazing. I heard through the grapevine though that the Island had horrific rains this past hurricane season. I know hurricane season spans from May to November, placing our wedding date smack dab in the middle. How concerned should I be? The main reason we choose a destination wedding was to ensure good weather. (We're from Boston where the weather can change hourly!) Does anyone know when the rains started this past year or how I could acquire that info? Thanks in advance for your help! Any advice from former August Aruban brides or Renaissance Island brides is welcomed too!!!!
  3. Thanks Andrea! I just registered on Jennive's site. Thinking I would love to wear my hair down, but worried that it might be much too hot for that! What style did you choose?
  4. Thanks everyone for your responses! Andrea, your website is great! We are unofficially holding a date in 2012. Peter & I got engaged in Aruba in May and decided to check out Renaissance Island while we were there. It is absolutely gorgeous and private (which I love!). And Juney seems great! What kind of music did you select for the ceremony? The reception? What is your color scheme? What color sash, if any, did you select for chairs? Photographer? Hairstylist? I have so many questions! Wishing you the best of luck next month! You must be getting so excited! Thanks again! Kristin
  5. Recently engaged (May 8th) and considering a destination wedding on Renaissance Island in Aruba. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
