Hey there, I don't recall a name or anything but they were very inexpensive, but descent quality. They look like nice shopping bags, and are about 10 inches wide maybe. The things I have for them are: First aid kit with the stuff that came in there, plus tums and tylenol packets hand sanitizer photo share cards Do not disturb sign Wine stopper - starfish personalized lip balm lanyards with the holder for the money or room key sudoku books personalized stadium cups a welcome card and I think that's it. As far as transporting everything, I stopped buying once I figured out how tricky that might be. There's definitely a cost to bringing all this stuff yourself. Hopefully it will still end up being cheaper in the end!! I don't think airlines really help brides out with luggage costs at all. I'm just hoping they will accomodate my dress.

Hey girls, I think I have finished my welcome booklet. Anyone have any recommendations/changes to be made? They will go in the OOT bags. I am just going to print them two two a page, cut them and bind them together with ribbon or something. Someone else in the forum did a games booklet too which was really cute, but I'm not su re if that's overkill or not. ??? Welcome_Brochure.doc

Tenny, I did a boudoir photo shoot to get some sexy/cute pics for the FI. It will replace the traditional "little black book" one where a guy would keep all the numbers of his women! ha ha. So, now that he can no longer have one of those, I will be giving him a new little black book with the sexy pix. )

Okay, so I got some pics I can share. Hopefully, they don't end up elsewhere.

So, have any of you girls thought of a cute message to put on the new "little black book?" I am trying to figure something out now. Hmmm....

Chicaloco, so you married at the resort? Congratulations! Are you going to post a review by chance? Do you have any advice for us future brides? Your ceremony site was beautiful. I love that vibrant pink sheer! And girls, I finally got my BD pics. I want to share so bad but I don't have rights to the pics.

This forum is so awesome and will help you tremendously along the way. To me, I feel as though destination weddings can be less traditional than the standard wedding, so I say "do what you want!" I didn't do save the dates, as I felt if people are going to want to go, they're not going to forget and will likely book early. So, I saved myself a few dollars there, and just did invitations right off the bat. I just gave them the website for booking information.

Greys, glad to hear your scare wasn't anything serious, and that you enjoyed your BD shoot!! Brandy, so sorry about your dress fitting. Just focus on the big picture, not all the little things that may go wrong. Overall, it will be beautiful! fmichelle, exciting stuff!! I can't believe how close you girls are. I'm envious but still have so much to get done!

Awe man, I finally got my BD pics and I don't have rights to them as part of my package. Just a black book with certain prints. So, I don't know how to share. Booo

Hey girls, I just wanted to share my success! Last week I did an "after" pic from when I tried on my bathing suits in January. I can see a huge difference and I am happy about the changes (except that my clothes don't fit). Since January, I've lost 6-7 lbs and over the past few years, a total of 11-12. )

Some updates for me. Picked up my band for my ring and the coloring was all different. So, they are doing something called rhodium plating which I'm hoping makes them look like they actually go together (they weren't officially a set). Here's a pic. I started working on a welcome book last night, and programs the other night. So, I'm hoping these things work out. I had designed menus myself and had them printed through Vista and I don't love them. They're too big I think, and they printed matte, which I hadn't thought about. Boo, all these learning curves but I guess I'm stuck with them and if no one knows otherwise, they won't care the least little bit. My FI's bachelor party is this weekend in Atlantic City so I'm gonna have to keep myself busy. I do have my shower on Sunday though, so that's exciting. And our legal day is one month from yesterday! Yay. Can't believe it's all finally coming together! Still a ton to do though, that's for sure!!

Hanna, that dress is super cute! Forgot who was asking about the guestbooks made online, but here is a link which should take you to my mixbook guestbook, as a sample if you'd like to take a look at it. http://www.mixbook.com/photo-books/wedding/wedding-guestbook-5175989

Now I feel like I NEED Christmas lights. ha ha!! No idea where we would get them right now though! No, Excellence Riviera Maya and Playa Mujeres are different. I would have rathered to go to Playa Mujeres but since we were only doing 2 days, we wanted the closest. We are leaving AS on the 5th, so we will have to try and meet up at least for a few mins (or one beverage!) ) Secrets Maroma looks GORGEOUS too! I would love to go to either of the resorts you all have mentioned. How long are you guys doing your honeymoon for? Quote: Originally Posted by Chapa We are going to Secrets Maroma Beach for our honeymoon. The beach is incredible. Me too, as mentioned above, now I'm back to wanting the lights!! ) I've done well at talking myself out of needing stuff though lately!

Hey Justiner57, There is a thread where a ton of people have shared their ceremonies. It takes FOREVER to go through. I only got half way through and have a ton of things to decide between, but it's a great way to figure out exactly what you want and how you can personalize it for you and your FI. I think most people do the sand ceremony down at the beach. I guess b/c of possible wind issues?? I wanted them as well, but decided not to when I heard the price. Where are you thinking about having tiki torches? Quote: Originally Posted by JaimeCF2BR Ok Zavas Plaza ladies...Christmas Lights... Got the quote today...$50 per strand! Definitely bringing my own! For those of you planning (or already did) bring lights...how many strands? Then unfortunately I'll have to rent tiki torches (though $8 is much more reasonable!)...how many of those do you recommend? We are switching to the Excellence Riviera Maya for our "honeymoon" nights, which is only the last 2. I picked it b/c I wanted to go towards the airport, not away so we have more time there that last day. It has like 2500 reviews on tripadvisor and most are good. Jaime, what date do you arrive in Mexico again?

Sarah, I've never seen that dress before, and I think it is absolutely gorgeous! Great choice. Don't second guess it!
