  1. Oh, and here's a pic of me in the BM dress, to see what it will look like on my adult girls. Â
  2. Oh girls, I don't think I told you all that my invites went out this week. Here is how we ended up wrapping them. I had posted the actual invite a while back. My friend and I designed it. Â Â The invitation has a beach background and the same pink starfish on it. ) Â Then, I also purchased just a plain jersey dress for my TTD. Â
  3. Awe, thanks Jaime. She can be a doll but she's at that pain in the butt age, trying to be bigger than she is! Still my baby though. Â I don't remember the company name. It was on ebay and I made an offer and they accepted it. It was $68 with shipping of $28. I just wonder how much more alterations will be. I put it on me, and felt like it made me a little bigger than I am. Don't know if my BM gals will like that!! Â
  4. Chong, did you send inspiration pics, or get a size back from the WC to show what the $60 bouqets look like? I'd love to see! I sent some inspiration pics a few days back to see what they would charge for something similar. I've heard girls say they send pics and they get back an estimate of $300!!! CRAZY )
  5. Hey girls, Â I got my bridesmaid dress from China today. I ordered just one for my daughter and the smallest size they offer is a 4 so it's big on her. I can't decide if I want to keep it or keep looking. Â Â Grr, well I am trying to copy and paste the pic in, or attach it and neither are working!!! BOOOOO
  6. Â That would be fantastic. I will email Maria now! Her pics are great, and our deal is good for two but could be amazing for three!
  7. I just sent out my invitations yesterday for a May 2nd wedding. I figure destination weddings aren't something someone is going to forget. So, no biggie sending out the formal invites early. )
  8. Sure, that'd be great. At least I could use that as a guideline. ) Â Thanks!! Â
  9. Yay, so close!! And wow, how in the world are you managing that one? If you don't mind sharing your budget, could you send it to me at [email protected]? That's awesome!! Â I was going to reply but then I noticed Maggie Jay responded with great answers! The GI consultants do have some great incentives to utilize so I would at least check with them, as well as your own travel agent to compare. And note that with the included dinner, it's just that ~ it's not dancing and a full reception. For that, you have to pay per head but they have some reasonable pricing for the food served, and I heard it's delicious!! Â
  10. I vote for the second one. It's not too much, and I love the pearls!! Good luck deciding, and your dress is GORGEOUS!!!!!!
  11. Ha ha, I agree. I don't think wedding night, but hopefully some time during the trip! ) We're not getting any younger!! LoL
  12. Congratulations!! Welcome to the forum! Lots of fabulous information on here. Â Hmm, okay, well let's see what we can get worked out. Â Definitely going to check out your information. My name is Tisha and I am getting married on Monday, the 2nd. Jaime is Saturday the 7th and I there's another bride on the 6th but I'm not sure of her photography plans. Only problem with Jaime and I sharing is that there's a nice gap in between our wedding dates. Hmmm......
  13. Hey girls, Â Who is everyone using for their photographer? I want a nice photographer but my budget doesn't allow for it. Â Are the girls getting married April 30th - May 7th bringing anyone or hiring from Mexico? Just wondering if there was any options for sharing. Â Let me know please. Â THANKS!!
  14. I don't know of anything off hand but I did find some cool you tube videos today. Maybe go to youtube and search for beach reception Azul Sensatori. Â They won't serve alcohol drinks at the cocktail party? That's strange. Is it a different location from your reception? Â I believe I had read that you can't ship stuff, but if you find out different, please let me know b/c that would be great!! Â
  15. Mahalo79, who is your travel agent? What is your total rate? I feel like there's a huge difference in their rates which is crazy to me. Our guests are paying $1206 for a week in the lowest level and I had to battle to get that down. Now, I guess to make up for that loss, they've bumped up all the other categories. Some of our guests had really wanted to do the swim ups but they are charging us and our guests $1700/pp for just the next level up, not premium. That's $500.00 more pp, and people just aren't going to do that. My FI and I really wanted to premium swim up and were told that it would be $760.00 more than our regular rate (total) and now we've ended up paying $1400.00 more for a grand total of $3800 (for the both of us, for one week). Sorry to rant here, but I just think it's crazy that the rates can be so different. It's like people make them up. Grr.... :Op  Good luck with the sale of your home!!! Fingers crossed for you!  Great information Daniepps!! Thank you!! Â
  16. Okay, just one more question~ Any idea on the difference in price, for offering two? B/c that sounds like the perfect way to do it!! ) Â Thanks for all your opinions and information!! It's greatly appreciated! Â
  17. Â Hmm, how are you making your own? What are you considering? The chicken or the beef sound good to me. I would prefer to offer two dishes though so people have an option. Is that what you are thinking? Â
  18. Hey Jaime, Â What food did you try? Do you recall what menu it was from? I can't decide which menu to go with!!
  19. Beautiful pictures!! I had actually come across these yesterday on her page, and was wondering who did your make up? It was gorgeous!!! Â CONGRATS MRS!
