Hi girls, Â 2 other gals and myself, who are getting married at the Azul Sensatori the first week in May have teamed up with a photographer out of Florida. We had a fourth with the date of May 6th but she hasn't replied to us in a while. So, we are keeping our options open, and looking to see if we can find a 4th who's interested in a great deal. A couple of us girls have teamed up with a great photographer out of Naples, Florida. Basically, with her booking all of us in the same week, our rates are great! Wow, those are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Definitely up there in the best TTD photos I've seen. Where were the pics taken? Â I'd like to find a nice beach with blue water like that and a cenote/jungle place just like those locations!!! Â The dress I'm using though isn't going to be as great as yours though. It's not a true wedding dress. I guess it will be okay.

Hi MD/DC girls, Â Anyone finding that airline prices are still pretty high? I am trying to find a nonstop from BWI, IAD, or DCA to Cancun and the only ones I see are $800.00 or something crazy. I've been emailing airlines to see when they will be releasing their late April/early May airfare.

Ha ha, yeah, I tend to do things backwards, hence the 13 year old child!! ) Well, we had discussed it and kind of decided a time frame. I picked out my ring, and he dilly dallied thinking he could just go pick it up. Then something came up with some money coming in so he waited. When we finally discussed the ring again, he hadn't ordered it, and it was a 6-8 week time frame to get it in. My finger is a size 4!!! So, we went ahead and booked (not to lose the date), and it just rolled from there! It is pretty funny, but it's all good. I told everyone it's Officially Official now. ) Â

Oh, and many of you don't know since I've been planning my wedding for a while, but I wasn't officially engaged yet. I got the proper proposal this past weekend on a surprise trip to NYC. Here's a pic. He is the greatest. I love him, I love my ring, and I am a happy girl!!

Hi girls, Â I am looking to make my own bouquets, with the help of my aunt who is "crafty." But, I'm not the biggest fan of the selection at the typical craft stores, Michaels, AC Moore, etc. Â Does anyone know of a website that sells tropical single stem silk flowers?

Thanks for the info Colleen. Â I just had one of my bridesmaids email me and say that she won't come to the wedding if a certain guest comes. The second girl is her cousins ex and she says she's a terrible person and if she goes my bm wouldn't have a good time, and there would be drama. I'm quite frustrated by the predicament this has put me in.

Oh, okay, cool. Was your welcome reception basically your "included dinner" since you held a private reception? Did you just play background music? Â

Here's mine. Just got the official proposal and ering this weekend!! He took me to NYC for the weekend and had a huge billboard come up with his picture holding the ring saying "will you marry me?" Too cute!! Â Â

The resort let you have music for your welcome reception? We will probably do this as well, but I didn't know you could play music for that. Do you have to order any special equipment? Â Michelle, the invitation is wrapped in crepe paper. We had originally wanted to put starfish on there, but they would have been harder to mail, and we wanted to get the invites out quickly (during our booking period.) Â For a photographer, we are trying to work out a deal with four of us girls getting married the same week. I believe we may have three that are "in" so far, so I'm hoping it all works out The price is great and the photos are amazing. ) Â My TTD is from venus.com. It was only $30. When day are you getting married in April? Â The invites have been mailed, and as far as I know, they all traveled fine. They were able to go right in an envelope, and there weren't even any extra charges! Mahalo, I am doing the exact same colors just the week after you! Let me know what kind of reply or pics you get from the WC. I emailed her my inspiration pics for some pricing estimates, but haven't heard back from her. Are you doing a beach wedding? What color tulle are you using on the ceremony site? What about chair bows? I was thinking we may be able to share costs!!

I hear the onsite team is AMAZING and will make sure everything goes according to plan. Just be sure your wedding coordinator has every little detail on your spreadsheet. For the music, just make sure it's all very detailed and organized, and hopefully the "button pusher" gets it right. ) You can't stress yourself out over the minor details. It will all be beautiful in the end.

Ha ha, that's too funny! I say anything goes! It's your wedding and it should reflect your family, personality and interests! Â I am doing things my way and am not the least bit concerned about "the Norm" or tradition. )

Yay, I can't even tell you how excited I am to hear this. So, I guess if we can get Chapa onboard, we will all have beautiful pics for a phenomenal price!!! Maria Angela is just waiting to hear back from us on what we are going to do. She said if she has any requests for her services during our week, she will give me a heads up! Â Thanks Chong. I'm not sure on how much the alterations will be, so I can't decide. I found a dress at Kohls that I can get pretty cheap, and they are cute too. Different color though, hot pink. So, I gotta decide!!!!!!! AGHHHHH..... I know for the other dresses, I can send the lady their measurements and have them specially made. I should have done that for the first one but didn't realize I could. Â That's gorgeous!!! Â I think I got a Medium, and it's good. I probably could have gotten a small but I don't like for it to be too clingy. I suppose I better get over that, at least for the photo session. )

Maggie, I got it from Venus.com. It was only $30! I just couldn't bring myself to spend even another $100 on a different dress, and I certainly didn't want to wear my actual wedding dress. It's satin and I would be afraid it'd get ruined.
