Oh, and Arkae, I guess they changed the wording on the exotic gazebo. I do believe the last time I looked at it, it did not say sheer (or essentially white) and that color is more costly. That stinks!

Oh, and for your question on the photographer and ceremony, under 5K is very doable. Have you tried to get some other girls to go in together on a photographer? That really helps with keeping the costs down. For me personally, the ceremony is so short, I am planning on doing the exotic gazebo for $220 that comes with the tulle and two sets of flowers, some flower petals down the aisle and I'm bringing bows for the chairs, no covers. I think it will be pretty. Would it be even more gorgeous if I added more? yes, but with my thrifty budget mind, I just can't do much more! ) Good luck deciding.

Hey Michele, I'm so sorry to hear that you are having the same mixed feelings. It kinda blows, but I'm hoping when I go back I remember why I made the decision to purchase it. Like you, my mom was there and she really liked the dress. So, I guess we will see. I'm tempted to go keep looking as well, but I'm going to wait it out. Like nv+gms said, the little things that are stressing me out, aren't going to be a factor for everyone else, and I'm sure they will think I look beautiful in the dress. Fingers crossed, I feel the same!!!

I can't copy it from this computer. My big computer broke so I have to do all my wedding planning on my daughters 10 inch screen, and now I guess all the Word products are expired b/c I can't do anything in Word, excel, etc. anymore. Booo I did get my flowers in tonight! They are beautiful. I do wish my bouquet was smaller, but it's all good. I got my daughter all dolled up with her BM dress, put up her hair and she looked so cute. I also got in our cups. I thought they came with tops though so I will have to check on that. I just don't know if people will carry them around if they don't have tops. Hmmm.... I will try and post pics of those tomorrow too. I like the little poem I put on them. Oh, and more good news for the day, my FI's parents are going to give us some money toward the wedding. That is fabulous news. We may pull this off without any debt. Yippee cay yay!!!! I work two jobs so I stay out of debt and I definitely don't want the wedding to put me over the top. So, I'm absolutely thrilled about that!!

GIRLS, I am totally having a meltdown. I feel like I chose the wrong dress. I need it to hurry up and come in so I can try it on again to be sure, but there are so many things now that I wish I'd done differently. Like, I got the dress in diamond white b/c that's what I tried on but the model pic has it in white, and I think I should have gotten it in that color. Then, I ordered the size I tried on, which based on the measurements they took, was way small, but I ordered that size b/c it fit. But now, in looking at other corset backs, it looks as though mine should have been a bit bigger so the criss crosses aren't so big. I never loved the back, and now I also wish it had more a sweetheart neck. So stressing.....

I loved your pictures!! Your dress is beautiful. Did you buy your maracas before heading to Mexico or when you got there? Oh, and the shots at the arcade were priceless. Congratulations!!

Brandy, I emailed Barrys Promos through etsy and they never got back to me. The pricing looked great though! No set up fees, and about a $1.00 per koozie.

You do have plenty of time, so if they aren't really standing out to you, I'd say keep looking. As far as the heavy fabric, I would try to stay away if I were you. I do agree that destination wedding or not, you should go with the dress that you love, but at the same time, if it makes you miserably hot on your special day, it's not really worth it. I'm sure there's one that you will love that's in a lighter fabric. ) Good luck in your search!

Jaime, I think if the cartel stuff hadn't been going on, it would be a mute issue. But, because of that, people are more weary of the area and making it a bigger deal than it needs to be. I'm not concerned. It's not stopping me from celebrating!!!

Yes, I've been there. It's a very nice shop. How long did they say it would take to get in? Mine should be in some time in December or January. Sometimes I think I didn't pick the right one, but I hope when I try it on again, it will refresh that "this is the one" moment! That's a big task you can check off your to do list! Yay
