I'm so sorry to hear of all your frustrations with the wedding coordinators. I've always heard that the ones in Miami are difficult, but once you get to the resort, they take great care of everything. I understand the frustration though, b/c you need to know what all to book before hand. I just got a new coordinator, and so far, she's been great. Hope things turn around for you ladies.

Ooh, that's exciting! That's something I need to do. I always get so frazzled by trying to do right, but I don't know what "right" is. Everyone says something different, so then I just say WTH, and I eat whatever I want. I've been doing good lately though. I'm on a mission. I have cut out my wine during the week and my chocolate candy bars that I used to eat daily (bite sized ones). Now, if I have to have a sweet treat, I try to eat either yogurt or an Andes mint, sugar free candy or Peppermint patty. I am quite happy with the changes I saw this past week with just a 2 pound loss. Brandy, first of all, congrats on making it through your first week! Who are you working with? I can't believe they have you doing that much each day. Make sure your eating enough too. You don't want to eat too little when you are working out so hard b/c your body will go into starvation mode and start holding on to the fat cells. I'm sure it will all start to even out. )

Someone had asked a few pages back about the Christmas lights at Zavaz plaza. I checked my email and I was quoted $50/post.

Oh no, glad you're okay!! And thanks for the props! ) I was shocked when I looked at the numbers I had sent you and realized there was almost 2 pounds difference. I've been working out for years and have simply maintained. But, lately I've been eating healthy and am finally seeing some results. This week may be a toughie though as I have a night out planned. So, we will see. Congrats to Cassie on being BL this week!!

I will have to check my email to see what they charge for the lights, but I think it was excessive per usual. I will let you know when I find it, as I like that look as well. I have lanterns and I bought some of the fake candle lights for them. $5 for 12 lights at the Christmas store. Only problem is I'm not sure how the lights stay put unless they post them up from the top and bottom so the light sits on the side of the lantern. Hmm.....

On a positive note, yesterday was my 99 days mark! Double digits now.

Is anyone else having issues with people either inviting themselves, or guests inviting other people? We've had two couples invite themselves. Then, a friend of mine apparently doesn't think our crew will be fun-worth enough (or binge drinkers enough) so he is inviting people to go to Mexico (people I don't even like!) I had my party days and while I still like to have an occasional drunken night, I am pretty much over that part. Our group is mostly like that but the guys will definitely let loose and party it up. The people this guy wants to invite are out all the time, and the one guy is a Bleephole. Then, last night while at a friends house, I meet a couple for the first time, and one of our wedding guests is telling her that her and her husband should come. I'm like really? I know Mexico is a free place for people to go, but this is our wedding celebration, not just a vacation! I'm really starting to feel like my wedding day is going to be overshadowed by a crazy drunken vacation for most. It makes me very sad. Every bride wants her day to be about her. I hope it still will be. FI says the guests will be respectful that day, but ugh. Sorry, just needed to vent. Thanks for listening girls. Sometimes this forum is the only place I feel anyone understands anything I'm going through.

I had ordered a set that was just too much for my dress, so I sent her pics of something I thought would work (since the rhinestones are on the side) and she made this up for me. She also gave me options on the earrings I wanted to pick for it. )

No, no chair covers. We do have the bows, so I will have to figure out how to set them up so they look nice. But, I wanted the parents and siblings to have their seats saved. Thank you btw. I am completely new to designing with gimp/photoshop, so I am learning as I go.

Yay, don't you just love getting wedding stuff in the mail!! It's getting so close, I can't believe it. Seems like yesterday it was 6 months out. So glad to hear you love your flowers!! She really does do a fabulous job!

Okay girls, I've been busy tonight. Please let me know what you think of my DIY items. I am new to the whole Photoshop/Gimp design world, so they're not the greatest but here goes. I have made my first aid kit labels (we only have the bandaids and such, Tums, and Tylenol in these), a menu for the reception, reserved seating cards for family, and door hangers. I also created my own Share the Love stickers but I don't have them here at home. Here goes. Let me know your thoughts. Cute, cheesy?? )

Yeah, I think that is plenty of time. I think I decided that I am just going to wear my actual wedding dress for the TTD session. I hear that they don't really get messed up, so I figured why spend another $100. Now, if I found a cute dress for $50.00 I'd probably just do it.
